Olodo Uprising: Are We rewarding ignorance or Authenticity

Olodo uprising: Are We rewarding ignorance or Authenticity. Let me give the definition of olodo :An olodo is a word being used to describe.someone who is not intelligent and it does not mean whether you are educated or not. The "Olodo Uprising" is a viral cultural debate sparked by Nigerian rapper Y Cee. It questions whether society now rewards unpolished, low-brow virality over education and intellect. Choosing to support ignorance as "authenticity" romanticizes a dangerous lack of critical thinking, which ultimately hurts national development and problem-solving.Let me also back up my point with this idiom an Empty vessel is a person with no knowledge or substance. With the life of peller who can not speak English fluently we are facing ignorance in the society. The way we are upholding ignorance is that some people don't go out again to work they can just start doing online job e.g people who are doing yahoo it is not that they is no job but it is because they are ignorant some of them even go further to back people's account and in Nigeria that is what leads to corruption in the society or nation. They are also looking for alternative to make money because the government has failed, the government also refuse to construct road it also give them means of reckless driving. The intellectual potent of youth in Nigeria is very very low that is why we are worried that they may not be able to relate to intelligent content someone like Layi wasabi he does a lot of funny content but those contents are highly intelligent,he does things that someone who is absolutely tomfully. It is like we try so much to tolerate unintelligence people treat them with love so they will not feel bad majority of the society are not supporting academic excellence now people say yahoo culture. In other words of Chimmamanda Ngozi Adiche Nigeria's are very in materialistic so what so anytime you check someone status you worship money the way we worship God.Why is vile entertainment now more valuable than substance that is a valid question this is What Tosin eniolorunda when he spoke About Nigeria not having talent .it is essentially the same thing that K.cee is alluding to the human capital but people are not longer interested in the value that produce long term results. They want short gains they want to be uninformed and rich, They also want to best when they are not being educated because the cost of information time discipline matters mostBut then we must solve the country problem now most of the content creator are ruling the world and most of those artist .Now they are younger generations looking forward to what will add them money or bring them sources of income but now when they go to school it teaches them that ignorance is not good and it is not supported which is going to spell a serious doing some of the youth we have today don't know anything about inventions and innovations we follow more trends that"school na scam" everyday we have less people who want to aspire to be a professor or how many young people want to study law or medicine they will think that is a long cut.So people who go into things like creating contentNigeria cannot build a globally competitive economy on shallow expertise. Artificial intelligence cannot be developed by people who have never studied mathematics, data management or computer science in depth.Modern manufacturing cannot thrive without engineers who understand engineering beyond PowerPoint presentations.Healthcare cannot improve through motivational speeches. Public policy cannot be transformed through hashtags. Innovation is built upon disciplined knowledge accumulated over many years. The world’s most successful nations reward mastery. Nigeria increasingly rewards visibility. That imbalance carries consequences.Yes we know the problem now become visible that is not a problem. The reason why people are not concerned is because they want to make money but it is actually wrong it will lead us to a problem in the nearest generation because we will have society where we want to I no ate build good status because they is nothing there to do with .Let me get a reference they was a case where the CEO cried about 500 Nigeria people can't win .The statistics references shows us that they are psychological studies publishers which engage in ignorance we are noticing that 40% people choose to remain willfully ignorant of the consequence of the action they take. They know enough to sound convincing but rarely enough to solve difficult problems. In a recent Inspire Africa Series, Atedo Peterside made the point about ‘dilettantism’ – contrast with his ten years Merchant banking experience, exposure and education before founding the Investment Banking and Trust Company Limited (IBTCThe systematic misconception in global survey testing basic word development and social facts 15% of respondents answered every single question wrong performing worse than random selection of a monkey. Some of them don't want to make themselves figures that are important and some of them could work in corporate places but they is no insensitive for that but I feel like that is a problem now that government as made our society like this the solution is not like to endowed and appreciate proud olodo's in the society and give them as of the endowed thing that can be,but is a world where we also reward intelligent people and other conversation. As we are,we need to demarkert the olodo's uprising and make people see further there know how may clown did we have? But in the nearest future we could only have to plan in the market .It will get to a stage where the Olodo could have finished all the content but one thing that will give us access in the nearest future a world where we have people who are investing in education and Demarketing ignorance. If you check most of these guys they make you look stupid, nowadays they are some men who graduate with first class because of lack of understanding they start to create content ofr start to defraud people here and there. In conclusion I will like us to create a society where intelligence are being celebrated or wanted so if you have a chance use it wisely because Fame without depth is like Celebrating a crown made of paper.

The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know for the Best Content track
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
