<p><br/></p><p>Life has made relationships so hard for y’all in relationships </p><p>What do you mean “if you text first you’re simp” , if you reply too fast” you look cheap </p><p>If you finish your food on your first date you act starved </p><p>Abeg does being in a relationship mean you shouldn’t eat? </p><p>Worst part when it’s a month into the relationship you start showing your true colors </p><p>Some even go far to the extent of giving rules and regulations to how you have to look, smell, eat if possible breathe </p><p><br/></p><p>But this rules are breaking them </p><p>I mean what is the quality when there is no originality </p><p>You’re so careful that you’re walking on needles </p><p>You have to sneeze cutely </p><p>You have to giggle not laugh loudly Haba 😒</p><p>Fine you and I know that that your laughter can shake the walls of his house </p><p>But instead you stifle it you giggle </p><p>You don’t talk back at him </p><p>You don’t complain when he’s being rude </p><p><br/></p><p>You too you can’t tell her you can afford to eat at là cuisine restaurant you want her to eat croissant </p><p>Something that will cost you one forth of your salary </p><p>You don’t text her first because they said it might make her loose feelings </p><p>You overlook specific things because asking questions might tire her and she might loose interest </p><p>You even go as far as acting non chalant </p><p>Haba fine boy </p><p><br/></p><p>But where is the originality in all of these </p><p>Where is the feeling our elders felt when they sneaked out of their parents house barefooted just to see that person under the mango tree </p><p>Where they laughed out very loudly as they ate from the seeds the land brought forth </p><p><br/></p><p>Has the society given us rules that ruins the originality of our feelings in the name of modernising and polishing </p><p>Or has time just changed?</p>
