Pains, Tears, Disappointment
Pains, tears, disappointment,
Carved deep within my heart.
Tears flooded my eyes,
Darkness fought to get in.
Heartbroken,
Nowhere to run to.
My eyes yearned to give way to tears,
An ache within my head.
Downcast, guilty,
He tried to make things right,
No matter how things hurt
Or how disappointed he was in himself.
Angered by his mistake,
He cries, his heart
Brimming with irony,
His soul still cleaving
Towards the Light, that Light.
Noises, sounds,
My head aches.
My heart cries,
What can I do?
What shall I do?
Whom do I run to?
Except Him, my love.
Key explanation:
This is an ironic contradiction, of pain, darkness, struggles, and mistake we make and we can't come out of it because we feel so guilty and so unworthy, that we cage ourselves up, in scars, darkness and dooms, we spare our lives, to canine grotesque.
