SHADOW AWAKENING Episode 4: Escape from the Shadow Realm Kairo opened his eyes and found himself trapped in a dark world filled with strange creatures. The sky was red, and chains of black energy covered the mountains. “Where am I?” he whispered. Suddenly, a terrifying voice echoed through the darkness. “Welcome to the Shadow Realm, Kairo.” Lord Vex appeared on a giant black throne. Kairo stood up angrily. “Where is my sister? What have you done to her?” Lord Vex laughed. “Your sister is safe—for now. If you want to see her again, survive this realm.” With a wave of his hand, Lord Vex summoned a giant shadow monster. Kairo immediately entered Shadow Mode: Level Four and charged forward. Their battle shook the entire realm, but the monster was stronger than anything he had faced before. One powerful strike sent Kairo crashing to the ground. “Get up!” a mysterious voice shouted inside his mind. Kairo looked up. A strange warrior appeared, carrying a glowing silver sword. “Who are you?” Kairo asked. “I am the guardian of the original Shadow Power. If you want to defeat Lord Vex, you must unlock the power hidden inside your soul.” The monster roared and charged again. Kairo clenched his fists. Black lightning surrounded his body, and his shadow began transforming into enormous wings. “SHADOW AWAKENING: LEVEL FIVE!” The entire realm trembled. Lord Vex suddenly rose from his throne, his smile disappearing. “No… that power was supposed to be lost forever!” Kairo launched himself toward the monster, ready to unleash his new strength. But before he could strike, the mysterious warrior grabbed his arm. “Stop! If you use that power without control, you will destroy yourself—and everyone around you.” Kairo stared at his glowing hands. Far away, Lord Vex smiled again. “Excellent. The awakening has begun.
