Six years old, life time thing.
<p><br/></p><p>Six years when childhood broke</p><p><br/></p><p>No mother's hand, no words I spoke </p><p><br/></p><p>They asked for her but I had no reply</p><p><br/></p><p>Just silenced deeply and a question why</p><p><br/></p><p>The world said it's nothing so I moved along </p><p><br/></p><p>But my body sang a different song</p><p><br/></p><p>Trauma shaped me, quiet and small</p><p><br/></p><p>Taught me to stand when I should fall</p><p><br/></p><p>Judged by all, known by none</p><p><br/></p><p>They don't see the warning I ave won</p><p><br/></p><p>I stopped the tears but not the star</p><p><br/></p><p>Still here I stand beneath the stars</p><p><br/></p><p>I learnt too early that silence can hurt,</p><p><br/></p><p>That missing someone can make you feel alone.</p><p><br/></p><p>I watched other children reach for their mothers,</p><p><br/></p><p>And I just stood there, not knowing what to say.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>I was only six, but somehow I carried it,</p><p><br/></p><p>Questions I didn't even know how to ask.</p><p><br/></p><p>I smiled whenever they asked if I was fine,</p><p><br/></p><p>But deep down, I knew something in me had changed.</p><p><br/></p><p>Maybe I can't change what happened back then,</p><p><br/></p><p>Or give that little girl her childhood again.</p><p><br/></p><p>But I can hold her now, the way I needed then,</p><p><br/></p><p>And remind her she wasn't hard to love.</p>

Trauma doesn't have to define someone's whole life, people heal and discover what has happened to them and find a way of coping.
