SOUNDS (MUSIC 🎵🎶)

Hmm, Sounds— a very important topic that this generation needs to hear.

Do we know that what we listen to, or the sounds we listen to, has a great effect on our minds? Do we really know?

We must understand that whatever we listen to influences us in one way or the other. Sounds come in different forms, but the one on which emphasis will be laid is "Music".

What is music? Music is a sound which involves the combination of instruments and voices through which people express themselves.

We have two main types of song. We have the sacred songs(used in worshipping God) and the secular songs (known as worldly songs or songs that do not glorify God).

For secular songs, there are songs that glorify the devil and songs that just tell the story of people; anthems can also fall into this category.

We may decide to sing songs that tell the story of other people, but we should ask, does it add value to your life? Some may say their story encourages them, but we can get encouragement from the Word of God and also from Gospel songs.

Those are enough for us!!!

We may feel like it is not bad to sing worldly songs since they are not having any negative effect on our lives, but what we fail to realize is that those songs affect the way we think, the way we position out hearts, our behavior, without us realizing it.
