Students palava ( in class).

As a student especially if you're in a higher institution, my dear, you'll experience a lot of things( not really dangerous things sha) but you'll experience a lot of things that would surprise you.

When I finished secondary school, I really wanted to enter what is called 'university', the free life. And I entered. As a student that I am, I've experienced a lot and I'm just in second semester of the first level o.

For the first Semester, I got to experience how lecturers behave and I also examined my course mates, I went to class when necessary, sometimes listen and understand, other times listen and still not understand. That's the funniest part, you would see me paying attention, full attention, not letting anything, including my friends that I made in school to distract me, but I would not understand at the end of the lectures.

This happens to me sometimes.

There are also other times that I would not stress myself to listen to the lectures, not because I'm lazy( sometimes It could be because of that) but because I know that I would still not understand it.

Exam time came, and for the first time, I got to experience how tertiary institution exam looked like. I did not panic though, but I can say I did well to some point.

Now this is where I'm going, the real gist...

Second semester came. I experienced something, this time it was about lecturers.

Omo lecturers can be so unpredictable.

The thing is, there's a lecturer in our school, and he teaches us INTRODUCTION TO COMPUTER a borrowed course. That day, it was a thursday, I went to school as usual, we had previous lectures before his. His lecture was to be held 3pm to 5pm.

Prior to that day, we've been hearing rumors that there would be test, but that day came and the Governor of our class ( in higher institution it's called governor rather than class captain as used in secondary school ) told us that there was no test. We believed and most students decided to go home( those who are not staying in the hostel, I don't stay in hostel too), but I still remained in school for some reason.

To our surprise the lecturer came to class for lectures, and as a result people began to blame the governor for telling them a lie.

But what we don't understand is that, the governor said there was no test, he did not say there was no lectures, so why did the people decide to go home when lectures has not ended?

I went to class immediately, when I heard that the lecturer came to class, we in the class became confused, because we don't know if there would be test or not.

The lecturer then declared that there would be a 15 minutes test. We began to contact our friends on our Whatsapp GC that the test would be holding.

They all began to complain that they had almost reached home. Those that could come back, came back, those that could not, remained at their house.

What surprised me, was how one of my coursemates who had almost reached her house at ikorodu, began the journey back to our school located at yaba.

So we anticipated to write the test, but guess what???

We ended up not writing the test, chai!!!

Everybody was surprised when the lecturer said at the end of the lectures, that the test was not going to hold.

Omo, the students that came back to school began to lament, although I had not gone home when the lecturer came to class, but I began to feel pity for them.

Cause what was that? My coursemates were so close to cursing the lecturer( when he had left the class o).

That was when I knew that you cannot predict the move of a lecturer most times, chai.

This one na Student palava!.
