THE CHILD WHO CALLED ME “MOM”.
<p><strong>Episode 1 — The Boy at the Bus Station</strong></p><p><br/></p><p>I was checking the time on my phone when I heard a little boy shouting behind me.</p><p><br/></p><p>“Mom!”</p><p><br/></p><p>I turned around.</p><p><br/></p><p>A six-year-old boy was running straight toward me.</p><p><br/></p><p>Before I could move, he wrapped his arms around my waist.</p><p><br/></p><p>“Mom, you came back!”</p><p><br/></p><p>I froze.</p><p><br/></p><p>“I'm sorry, sweetheart. You have the wrong person.”</p><p><br/></p><p>He pulled away and stared at my face.</p><p><br/></p><p>His eyes filled with tears.</p><p><br/></p><p>“No... it's you. I know you.”</p><p><br/></p><p>A man rushed toward us and grabbed the boy's hand.</p><p><br/></p><p>“I'm so sorry,” he said. “He's confused.”</p><p><br/></p><p>The boy struggled against him.</p><p><br/></p><p>“Daddy, don't take me! She came back!”</p><p><br/></p><p>The man's face suddenly changed.</p><p><br/></p><p>He looked at me carefully.</p><p><br/></p><p>Almost as if he had seen a ghost.</p><p><br/></p><p>Then he pulled the boy away.</p><p><br/></p><p>But just before they disappeared into the crowd, the boy looked back at me.</p><p><br/></p><p>His voice was barely a whisper.</p><p><br/></p><p>“Mom... don't trust Daddy.”</p><p><br/></p><p>I stood there, completely confused.</p><p><br/></p><p>I had never seen that child before.</p><p><br/></p><p>I had never seen his father before.</p><p><br/></p><p>And I had certainly never been a mother.</p><p><br/></p><p>At least, that's what I believed.</p><p><br/></p><p>Until my phone rang.</p><p><br/></p><p>It was my adoptive mother.</p><p><br/></p><p>I answered.</p><p><br/></p><p>“Mom, something strange just happened—”</p><p><br/></p><p>She interrupted me.</p><p><br/></p><p>“Where are you?”</p><p><br/></p><p>“At the bus station.”</p><p><br/></p><p>There was silence.</p><p><br/></p><p>Then she asked something that made my blood run cold.</p><p><br/></p><p>“Did you see a little boy?”</p><p><br/></p><p>I couldn't speak.</p><p><br/></p><p>“How did you know?”</p><p><br/></p><p>Her voice trembled.</p><p><br/></p><p>“Amara... listen to me carefully.”</p><p><br/></p><p>“Don't talk to that family.”</p><p><br/></p><p>“Why?”</p><p><br/></p><p>Another silence.</p><p><br/></p><p>Then she whispered:</p><p><br/></p><p>“Because seven years ago, you had a son.”</p><p><br/></p><p>The call disconnected.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Episode 2 coming soon...</strong></p>
