<p><strong>Episode V — The Woman in the Mirror</strong></p><p><br/></p><p>I couldn't take my eyes off the newspaper.</p><p><br/></p><p>The photograph showed my face.</p><p><br/></p><p>But there was something else.</p><p><br/></p><p>A name printed beneath it.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Elena BLACKWOOD.</strong></p><p><br/></p><p>I whispered the name.</p><p><br/></p><p>“That's not me.”</p><p><br/></p><p>A floorboard creaked behind me.</p><p><br/></p><p>I spun around.</p><p><br/></p><p>Nobody.</p><p><br/></p><p>Then I heard the sound again.</p><p><br/></p><p>This time, it came from downstairs.</p><p><br/></p><p>I grabbed the wooden box and hurried down the stairs.</p><p><br/></p><p>The front door was still open.</p><p><br/></p><p>But standing beside it was my mother.</p><p><br/></p><p>She looked at the newspaper in my hand.</p><p><br/></p><p>Her face collapsed.</p><p><br/></p><p>“You found it.”</p><p><br/></p><p>“What is Elena Blackwood?”</p><p><br/></p><p>She didn't answer.</p><p><br/></p><p>“Who is she?”</p><p><br/></p><p>My mother slowly sat down.</p><p><br/></p><p>“She was your twin sister.”</p><p><br/></p><p>I stared at her.</p><p><br/></p><p>“I don't have a twin.”</p><p><br/></p><p>“You did.”</p><p><br/></p><p>My heart raced.</p><p><br/></p><p>“Where is she?”</p><p><br/></p><p>My mother looked away.</p><p><br/></p><p>“She died seven years ago.”</p><p><br/></p><p>I felt dizzy.</p><p><br/></p><p>“Then why does she look exactly like me?”</p><p><br/></p><p>My mother began crying.</p><p><br/></p><p>Before I could ask another question, headlights appeared through the window.</p><p><br/></p><p>A car stopped outside.</p><p><br/></p><p>Daniel stepped out.</p><p><br/></p><p>He wasn't alone.</p><p><br/></p><p>Noah was with him.</p><p><br/></p><p>The little boy ran toward the house.</p><p><br/></p><p>“Mom!”</p><p><br/></p><p>I opened the door.</p><p><br/></p><p>Noah stopped when he saw the newspaper.</p><p><br/></p><p>He stared at the photograph.</p><p><br/></p><p>Then he looked at me.</p><p><br/></p><p>His expression changed.</p><p><br/></p><p>“That isn't you, Mom.”</p><p><br/></p><p>I swallowed.</p><p><br/></p><p>“Then who is she?”</p><p><br/></p><p>Noah pointed at the photograph.</p><p><br/></p><p>“That's Aunt Elena.”</p><p><br/></p><p>Daniel suddenly rushed forward.</p><p><br/></p><p>“Noah, stop!”</p><p><br/></p><p>But it was too late.</p><p><br/></p><p>The boy looked at me and whispered:</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>“You're not my real mother.”</strong></p><p><br/></p><p>Then he added:</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>“You're the woman who took her place.”</strong></p><p><strong><br/></strong></p><p><strong>Episode VI coming soon...</strong></p>

rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.

Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.

Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.

Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.

Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.
Top Engagers
For the Top Engagers Track, we award the top 3 people who engage the most with other user's content via
comments.
The winners are picked using the "Top Monthly Engagers" tab on the rankings page.
Most Engaged Content
The Most Engaged Content recognizes users whose content received the most engagement during the month.
We pick the top 3.
The winners are picked using the "Top Monthly Contributors" tab on the rankings page.
Contributor Rankings
The Rankings/Leaderboard shows the Top 20 contributors and engagers on TwoCents a monthly and all-time basis
— as well as the most active colleges (users attending/that attended those colleges)
The all-time contributors ranking is based on the Contributor Score, which is a measure of all the engagement and exposure a contributor's content receives.
The monthly contributors ranking tracks performance of a user's insights for the current month. The monthly and all-time scores are calcuated DIFFERENTLY.
This page also shows the top engagers on an all-time & monthly basis.
