The Children Question...
<p>Do you think people sit and ask themselves questions before making decisions?</p><p></p><p>Maybe... Just maybe, if they did, if parents had asked themselves important questions, including the most basic one which happens to be "why do I want kids", we won't have so many young people living with trauma </p><p></p><p>"Children are a blessing" they say, and when the child doesn't fit their definition of a "blessing", or doesn't follow the path that "blessings" follow, resentment starts to form.</p><p></p><p>That's why Samuel cannot pick his mother's call, because she'd remind him that he's a failure because he hasn't been able to get a job since graduation.</p><p></p><p>That's also why Sarah dreads going home, even for holidays, because they keep reminding her that she's a disgrace, because she hasn't gotten married at 35</p><p></p><p>It's the same reason why Mummy Vicky cannot take Vicky to visit her grandparents, because there's a constant reminder there that she got married to a poor man.</p><p></p><p>Maybe, if they had done the necessary evaluation, they'd have realized that they had wounds that needed to be healed, and they would not have spilled the blood on a whole lot of us. </p><p></p><p>Maybe, we would not have to feel like we owe our parents our life because they provided for us. </p><p></p><p>Maybe, they won't be 18 and 19 year olds out there with kids😪</p><p></p><p>I'm just going to go ahead and say it as it is. A lot of people SHOULDN'T be allowed to have children. </p><p></p>
