Clang….. clang… clang…

The baton strikes heavily on the steel bars of the metal cages we call home. The sound of crazed applause rang through through the halls….

“Can y’all be a little quieter?? He thought desperate for even a single second more to sleep..

“Hey” a voice whispered…

“I’ll just ignore it” he thought

“Heyyy” the voice called a little louder this time.

A frown etched on his face, he opens his eyes slowly, blinking at the light seeping in through the only window in the room..

“Rise and shineee” The voice continued

Focusing his gaze, he glared at the source of his sleep deprivation already knowing who it was.

Very little people were chirpy this early in the morning. Heck, very little people were chirpy at all.

Closing his eyes he turns away

“Maybe, I’ll just get a few more minutes of quiet bliss before-“

Ouch.

His head bruised from the sudden attack to his skull…

“Get up” The voice commands

“Argh” he groans “let me sleep”

“No.”

“Leave me alone “

“I won’t “

“But I was just about the vanquish the beast”

“What beast?? The voice sounds incredulous

“Yes 7.7.3. The beast”

“The evil, evil beast that is the source of all nightmares”

“What are you going on about?” Now the voice sounds exasperated

“Shhhhhhh”

It’s silent for a while and just as his about to sink into the sweet embrace of sleep…. Or as sweet as it could be while lying on cold, hard floor of the cage… but still at least I can -

Another hit landed on his temple. Even harder than before..

Groaning in pain, he leans against the wall massaging his bruised temple…

“Are you serious?? He yells at her

“Yep. Looks like you’re awake now” she beams “ get ready. We leave in five “ she walks away leaving me behind to grapple at the remains of the sweet promise of sleep..

Taking a moment, I scan the cage.

There are fewer people here than usual.

“This is good. No, this is very good” he thought

At exactly five minutes, all 200 occupants in the cage stood in front of the metal bars. The cheers from the floor above seemed to grow even louder..

A few seconds later, the heavy thud of leather boots were heard from the entrance along with the scraping sound of a metal pole..

“Woow. You’re all awake today. What a suprise” the bastard drawled. “Even you 9.9.7. You must be doing a really good job 7.7.3” he continues in a dead pan tone…

“Don’t react” 7.7.3 growls beside me

I almost rolls my eyes.. almost.

Honestly she gives me way to much credit. Even I can feel deflated. Feel?? Feel?? What’s that again??

“Oh well. Today, you’ll be entertaining some pretty important people soo I expect y’all to be on your best behavior.. understood?? The participants today are 8.7.1, 9.0.2”

He rambled on. Calling number off his stupid list as I zone everything out..

Yes. This is what peace feel like. Nothing. No one. Just silence.. I want to stay like this forever.

But alas the world had other plans ….

“9.9.7, you’ll be participating today “ he says

I guess peace really isn’t an option…

At the end of the month, we give out prizes in 3 categories: Best Content, Top Engagers and
Most Engaged Content.
Best Content
Top Engagers
Most Engaged Content
Best Content
We give out cash prizes to between 7 and 20 community members with the best insights in the past month.
The winners are picked by an in-house selection process.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know for the Best Content track
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.
