The mind that never slept
<p><br/></p><p>Everyone thought Mariam was brilliant.</p><p>She came first in class, never missed an assignment, and always looked calm. But inside her head, it felt like a room full of people shouting at the same time.</p><p>What if I fail?</p><p>What if everyone is better than me?</p><p>What if I'm not enough?</p><p>Every night, she stayed awake thinking about tomorrow. Even when she was tired, her mind refused to rest. The more she worried, the worse her grades became, and that made her worry even <a class="tc-blue" href="https://more.One" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">more.One </a> day, during an exam, her hands started shaking. She couldn't breathe properly, and the words on the paper became blurry. She ran out of the classroom in tears.</p><p>The school counselor found her sitting alone.</p><p>“Close your eyes,” the counselor said softly. “Tell me five things you can see, four things you can touch, three things you can hear…”</p><p>Slowly, Mariam's breathing became normal.</p><p>The counselor explained that anxiety can make the brain believe danger is everywhere, even when there isn't any.</p><p>From that day, Mariam stopped trying to be perfect. She took breaks, slept earlier, wrote down her worries instead of carrying them in her head, and asked for help when she needed <a class="tc-blue" href="https://it.Months" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">it.Months </a> later, she still had stressful days, but they no longer controlled her life.</p><p>She finally realized something important:</p><p>A healthy mind is more valuable than a perfect report card.</p><p><br/></p>
