I saw the stab, the lights he saw, the holes in his heart, the flies and maggots, the wild dogs, his hands over his face, as he died, decayed, and only his bones remains.

I guess there's nothing more to say. Only that the world stabbed, he watched himself rot, and die.

He might've found peace in this chaos I thought, but I only watched. A hand lent out is one who's ready to carry the burden, his burden. I can't do that, I don't how to.

All my life I have watched things happen around me, affecting me, the giraffes with high necks who do not see who's standing beneath the tall grass, the lions who know nothing but sit, sleep, and wait for their next prey within range, the troop of chimps who are nothing but hooligans, the school of fish who follow the masses direction. All of it.

I'm just a lone wolf with no packs to fit in, a lone wolf with nothing and nothing to loose. Hence, I float and wallow in my void, drifting in an abyss I call comfortable and home.

I will never complain, never fight, never cry, and never ever ask for help. So why does this man die from get stabbed?

That's what made me watch, the intricacies and expressions he made with his face when he laid there helpless, the way he smiled as the sun sent down a flicker of light, the way he slowly raised his fragile hands to cover his face in shame, the tears, how could I have forgotten the tears, his stench felt uncomfortable yet suitable for his nose, the maggots were irritating but fascinating as they dug in, the wild dogs fought themselves for their share of his limbs, the grass that grew beside him were lush and green, oh wait a fascinating scene it was! It made me feel!

I couldn't bear his burden, neither could I carry him to a proper coffin, I couldn't rewrite his story, or give him a perfect ending, I am not God.

I hope I don't turn out like him, I'm too fair a lady to be wailing and unveiling my flesh to leaves. I'd rather be alone swimming in this pool of silence.

...

I regret that he died, but my hands were clenched to the uncertainty that comes next. If I took the strings of his destiny, mine would have been touched.

I can only walk away, I only know how to walk away.

But.

A part of me... wanted to... get someone... who could help him... But that'll only ruin the scene.
