THIS IS NOT HOW TO BE FINE
<p>This is not how to be fine</p><p><br/></p><p>Honestly, I know I’m not fine.</p><p><br/></p><p>I just don’t know what exactly is wrong with me.</p><p><br/></p><p>One of these days, my sister asked me if I was fine.</p><p><br/></p><p>I said, “No.”</p><p><br/></p><p>She asked, “What’s wrong?”</p><p><br/></p><p>And I said, “I don’t know.”</p><p><br/></p><p>That was the most honest answer I could give.</p><p><br/></p><p>Because there’s a lot going on inside me, but whenever I try to explain it, the words just disappear.</p><p><br/></p><p>I feel tired, but sometimes I don’t even know what I’m tired from.</p><p><br/></p><p>I can laugh with people and still feel like something inside me is missing.</p><p><br/></p><p>I can have a normal day and still go to bed feeling like something isn’t right.</p><p><br/></p><p>Sometimes I want to cry, but I don’t even know what I’m crying about.</p><p><br/></p><p>Sometimes I want to talk, but I’m scared that if someone asks me what happened, all I’ll say is, “I don’t know.”</p><p><br/></p><p>And I hate that answer.</p><p><br/></p><p>Because I know I’m feeling something.</p><p><br/></p><p>I just don’t know how to name it.</p><p><br/></p><p>There are things I keep thinking about, things I keep pushing aside, things I pretend don’t bother me.</p><p><br/></p><p>Maybe they do.</p><p><br/></p><p>Maybe that’s why I don’t feel like myself lately.</p><p><br/></p><p>I keep saying I’m fine because it’s easier than explaining everything I don’t understand.</p><p><br/></p><p>But honestly…</p><p><br/></p><p>I’m not fine.</p><p><br/></p><p>I don’t know what’s wrong.</p><p><br/></p><p>I don’t even know what I need.</p><p><br/></p><p>I just know that this is not how to be fine.</p>
