UNAPOLOGETIC: FUCK THE STEREOTYPES
<p>If being real was a crime, I guess I’d be doing life. </p><p>Mom taught me how to pray; Dad taught me how to fight the pain, fight through the strife. </p><p>Friends taught me there is a thick line between content and content, and there’s a thin line between real and raw. </p><p>Good or bad, flawless or flawed;</p><p>I don’t really care what people think about you, me, and us.</p><p></p><p>If ignorance was a disease, trust me, there wouldn’t be a cure; </p><p>maybe until the old ignorant ones are long dead and gone, </p><p>when the old ignorant ones don’t transfer this syndrome to the younger ones. </p><p>Last I checked, there are about half of these ones in the world.</p><p></p><p>“Men are scum, men are scum,” but you have a dad who works 9 to 5, 9 to 9, just to put food on the table for your hardworking mouths. </p><p>“Men are scum, men are scum,” but you have a brother who quietly fixes problems and never complains. </p><p>You have an uncle who protects and advises you without making it about himself.</p><p></p><p>“All women are gold diggers,” but you have a mom who never asked you for anything and still gave you all. </p><p>You have a sister who stays loyal when the world turns against you. </p><p>You have an aunt who never asks for repayment for all the love she’s given.</p><p></p><p>I haven’t spent much time on Earth, but I can say for a fact that I’m tired of certain people: people blinded by society. </p><p></p><p>Due to certain circumstances, I don’t think I’d take a second stance on this subject we’re discussing, because even with the lens they still doubt what they see.</p><p></p><p>Quite sad.</p>
