We’ve Moved
<p>So it’s been about a minute since I last posted here.</p><p>The truth is, I was kidnapped.</p><p>Lol.</p><p>Not really.</p><p>Actually I and my mom have been at work, from cleaning the house to quarreling about what goes where. </p><p>For me, I’ve always hated where we stayed, the people were always nosy, and the general vibe always felt restrictive, I couldn’t be myself and no matter what I did we’d be the subject of gossip.</p><p><br/></p><p>But anyhow, God did it. The landlord wants to remodel the house so we were given a deadline, my mom was worried, and I honestly understood her, she’s been here for a long time, she’s used to being there, she’s planted, cultivated and reaped a lot from that place.</p><p>Me on the other hand? I was elated. But of course I couldn’t show it yet.</p><p>Then came house hunting. My God Agents deserve to be locked in Hell. The houses were cheap but the agency fee? Sad infuriating!</p><p>Like how is the rent 300k, and your agency fee is 200? Like who does that! And it’s like a disease, most agents are now like that.</p><p>We were at it for weeks, but luckily God had a way out. I spoke with someone I met in church about my predicament and he promised to help, later on he introduced me to someone, Taiwo he’s called.</p><p>At first glance, I was worried, Taiwo looked unkept and angry, I guessed his face was like that due to repeated stress. Either way, my opinions vanished after hearing him talk. He spoke clean English, the type you hear on TV. He wasn’t faking it too. He approached me and made small talk and every single worry I had melted away.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><em>I’d continue in a bit, we’re still packing in. Stay tuned for more</em></p>
