<p><strong>Episode 2</strong></p><p><strong>Six days to Go </strong></p><p>Neither Priscilla nor Daniel knew, what to do or say. </p><p>All they knew was that twenty-one days suddenly felt like an eternity.</p><p>But twenty-one days came and went.</p><p>The strike didn't.</p><p>At first, they had both tried to keep track of the days, believing that school would resume soon. But as the days stretched into weeks, counting became pointless.</p><p></p><p>There was no longer a date to look forward to.</p><p></p><p>No definite day.</p><p>No certainty.</p><p>They simply had to wait.</p><p></p><p>Priscilla tried not to let it bother her. She kept herself occupied with different things, but every now and then, she would catch herself wondering what Daniel was doing, calling to check up, leaving messages .</p><p></p><p>Daniel, on the other hand, had developed the habit of checking his phone whenever he heard a notification, hoping it was something about the strike or about Priscilla.</p><p>Sometimes it was just a random message.</p><p>Sometimes it was a notification from an app.</p><p></p><p>sometimes, it was Priscilla's messages, </p><p></p><p>And sometimes it was just nothing.</p><p></p><p>Still, he kept hoping.</p><p></p><p>They continued talking whenever they could, sharing little pieces of their days and pretending the distance wasn't getting to them.</p><p></p><p>But they both knew.</p><p></p><p>They missed each other.</p><p></p><p>Then, one evening, Priscilla received a message that changed everything.</p><p></p><p>It wasn't about the strike.</p><p></p><p>It wasn't about school reopening.</p><p></p><p>It was about an upcoming program.</p><p></p><p>A program they would both be attending.</p><p></p><p>She stared at the announcement for a moment before her face lit up.</p><p>Six days to the program.</p><p>Only six days.</p><p></p><p>For the first time in weeks, there was finally something they could count down to.</p><p></p><p>She immediately messaged Daniel.</p><p></p><p>Priscilla: “Guess what?”</p><p></p><p>His reply came shortly after.</p><p></p><p>Daniel: “What?”</p><p></p><p>Priscilla: “The program is in six days.”</p><p></p><p>There was a pause.</p><p></p><p>Then</p><p></p><p>Daniel: “Wait… you're coming?”</p><p></p><p>She smiled at the screen.</p><p></p><p>Priscilla: “Of course. Are you?”</p><p></p><p>His response came almost instantly.</p><p></p><p>Daniel: “Definitely.”</p><p></p><p>She laughed.</p><p></p><p>After weeks of not knowing when they would see each other again, they finally had a date.</p><p></p><p>Six days.</p><p></p><p>It wasn't school reopening.</p><p></p><p>It wasn't the end of the strike.</p><p></p><p>But somehow, it felt just as exciting.</p><p></p><p>Maybe even more.</p><p></p><p>From that moment, the waiting felt different.</p><p></p><p>They started talking about the program more often.</p><p></p><p>What they would wear.</p><p></p><p>Who they would see.</p><p></p><p>What they would do when they finally met.</p><p></p><p>Daniel teased her about what she was going to wear.</p><p></p><p>Priscilla teased him right back.</p><p></p><p>And every conversation seemed to end with the same thing:</p><p></p><p>“Six more days.”</p><p></p><p>Then it became five.</p><p></p><p>Then four.</p><p></p><p>Then three.</p><p></p><p>The excitement grew with every passing day.</p><p></p><p>Neither of them wanted to admit just how much they were looking forward to seeing each other.</p><p></p><p>But they didn't have to.</p><p></p><p>It was obvious.</p><p></p><p>After weeks of distance, they finally had something certain to hold on to.</p><p></p><p>Six days.</p><p></p><p>Just six days until they would be in the same place again.</p><p></p><p>And for Priscilla and Daniel, that was enough to make the endless strike feel a little less unbearable.</p><p>The count down began .</p><p>Five days to go.</p><p>Four days to go.</p><p>Three days to go .</p><p>Two days to go.</p><p>And Priscilla was preparing seriously, her hair, her outfits, shoes , makeup and so on. </p><p>She needed to look extremely beautiful for that special moment.</p><p>A day to go . </p><p>That was when the journey they both waited for started.</p><p>To be continued....</p><p></p>
