<p>🇳🇬 Forgotten History </p><p><br></p><p>Before oil, there were the Groundnut Pyramids.</p><p><br></p><p>In the 1950s and early 1960s, giant pyramids of bagged groundnuts stood proudly in Kano. They weren't built for tourism, they were a symbol of Nigeria's booming agricultural economy.</p><p><br></p><p>The pyramids represented thousands of tonnes of produce waiting to be exported, generating income and creating jobs long before crude oil became Nigeria's biggest source of revenue.</p><p><br></p><p>Today, they exist mostly in photographs and memories.</p><p><br></p><p>If you could bring back one part of Nigeria's past, what would it be?</p>
