I've been abducted
<p>Last night, my big brother texted,</p><p><br/></p><p>**“<em>So ti dele</em>.”**</p><p><br/></p><p>And the response that followed was:</p><p><br/></p><p>**“IF YOU WANT TO SEE HER AGAIN, 100K. YOU HAVE 3 HOURS TO DECIDE!”**</p><p><br/></p><p>Oh, how he believed it was one of my pranks and texted back:</p><p><br/></p><p>**“<em>Lo jeun, ebi o da l’ara</em> 😏”**</p><p><br/></p><p>The conversation went on and on, and he even sent a voice note and..... stated how the kidnapper was a novice.</p><p><br/></p><p>And then my picture appeared on his screen,</p><p><br/></p><p>Mouth stuffed, hands and legs tied,</p><p><br/></p><p>and he replied:</p><p><br/></p><p>**“7pm when?”**</p><p><br/></p><p>**“Next tomorrow?”**</p><p><br/></p><p>**“Next week?”**</p><p><br/></p><p>**“Next month?”**</p><p><br/></p><p>**“Next year?”**</p><p><br/></p><p>He laughed and joked because he believed so much that his sister was on the other end of the phone playing a prank on him.</p><p><br/></p><p>But guess what......</p><p><br/></p><p># **HE**</p><p><br/></p><p># **WAS**</p><p><br/></p><p># **RIGHT.**</p><p><br/></p><p>I was on the other end of the phone trying to prank my brother while I watched him laugh and call me a novice, saying it seemed like that was my first job. 😂</p><p><br/></p><p>I went online, tried to make ChatGPT produce the most convincing picture to scare him at least a bit, but he was just too smart.</p><p><br/></p><p>I guess brothers do know their sisters...</p><p><br/></p><p>Or maybe it's just mine. 😭</p><p><br/></p><p>But what if I wasn't the one on the other end?</p><p><br/></p><p>What if maybe it was actually a novice?</p><p><br/></p><p>He's still a kidnapper, right?</p><p><br/></p><p>And being a novice, he probably doesn't even know how to handle a weapon properly and somehow might cause something terrible to happen—not intentionally, but it's enough to land him in prison or have my story up on the news, with a wanted man who might never get caught.</p><p><br/></p><p>Maybe.</p><p><br/></p><p>Just maybe......</p><p><br/></p><p>I don't want to keep going with maybes because it's hard to believe.</p><p><br/></p><p>And maybe my brother would continue to believe it was me on the other line even if he hea</p><p>rd the truth, because he'd be too heartbroken to accept the truth.</p>
