<p>One question I have had for a VERY long time is: **How did we decide the dates, the days of the month, and the year?** 😭😂</p><p><br/></p><p>Like, how and why did some months get 30 days, some get 31, and then there's one particular month with 28 days, which sometimes becomes 29? HOW?</p><p><br/></p><p>Who exactly sat down one day and decided that February should have 28 days, but 29 days every four years? Who gave them that authority, please? 😭😂</p><p><br/></p><p>And why is time even recorded and arranged in a particular order? Who decided that a year must have 365 days? Is it because of the Earth's orbit around the sun, abi? Is that what it's called? 🌚</p><p><br/></p><p>But then, why can't we just have a certain number of months, with each month having the exact same number of days? Why must we have all these calculations and exceptions? Who created this system, and how did everybody just agree to follow it? 😭</p><p><br/></p><p>And please, people born on February 29, HOW DO YOU PEOPLE DO IT? 😂</p><p><br/></p><p>When do you celebrate your birthdays? Do you celebrate only once every four years, or do you pick another date in the years when February decides not to give you your actual birthday?</p><p><br/></p><p>Because you people grow every year, right? It's not as if your age pauses for three years and then resumes when February 29 comes around. So, what exactly is the arrangement? 😭😭</p><p><br/></p><p>Honestly, the more I think about it, the more questions I have.</p><p><br/></p><p>Because who sat down, figured all these things out, arranged them into a system, and somehow got the rest of the world to follow it?</p><p><br/></p><p>**I need answers, please, because this thing is no longer making sense to me o.** 😭😂</p><p><br/></p>
