DESTINY - PURPOSE - MISSION
<p>Thank you to everyone who commented on my post yesterday, Gracias 🙏🏾</p><p><br/></p><p>I attended a children/ youth programme on the first week of October and we discussed this questions.</p><p>1) what is destiny, purpose and mission </p><p>2) what is the interconnection between these three.</p><p><br/></p><p>So many people's comments on my last post caught my attention and made me believe that both Essence and existentialism can coexist.</p><p>I'm really proud of this generation honestly, y'all in two cents made me believe we have adults who believe in God but still ask questions instead of being dogmatic.</p><p><br/></p><p>According to what they answered in the church's retreat</p><p>Destiny is what we are called to do even before we existed </p><p>Purpose is why we are on earth</p><p>Mission is every activity we do everyday to achieve our purpose and destiny </p><p><br/></p><p>So yes, Philosophy and Religion can coexist </p><p>DESTINY is equal to ESSENCE </p><p>MISSION is equal to EXISTENTIALISM </p><p><br/></p><p>I'm a Christian girl so I see things from a Christian angle sometimes.</p><p>You have your Destiny and Purpose which is your essence</p><p> The choice you make and the activities you carry out ( mission) can decide the outcome of your life which is existentialism.</p><p><br/></p><p>So yes, two truths can coexist.</p><p><br/></p><p>When you're confused about something, go back to your Bible or Quran.</p><p>The answers you seek are there.</p><p><br/></p><p>And don't think that because God has given you a destiny so you can slack and not do anything about it because one way or the other he's going to make it happen. No</p><p>He can give you a destiny but God still gives you free will.</p><p>if you don't act like you want it, if you don't seek God's guidance, he can raise stones in your stead to do it.</p><p>Exactly what happened to Saul when the throne was given to David just because of an act of disobedience.</p><p>I guess that's where the adage that says "obedience is better than sacrifice" emerges from.</p><p><br/></p><p>This is my own conclusion, everyone can add theirs </p><p><br/></p><p>Thank you everyone.</p><p>PS: HAVE YOU FOUND YOUR PURPOSE IN LIFE OR I SHOULD MIND MY BUSINESS </p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>
