Everything is writeable.

As long as you know how to pick it up, turn it over in your hands, and find the words that make someone else feel what you felt when you lived it.

That's the thing about stories. People think they need something extraordinary to tell one. A dramatic life. A headline-worthy moment. Something worth writing home about.

But a story is just life told from a different angle.

And everyone , every single person breathing has lived something that would make a stranger stop scrolling. Stop everything. And think: “that's exactly it. That's exactly what I couldn't say.”

---

Sometimes it's the laughter that carries the most weight.

The kind that fills a room and sounds like everything is fine. The kind you perform so well that even you start to believe it. Smiles with no voice behind them. Joy used as a disguise because the alternative letting people see what's actually there feels too expensive.

We learn early how to laugh loudly enough that nobody hears the silence underneath.

---

And then there are the tears.

Both kinds. The loud ones that announce themselves, that people gather around and call by name. And the silent ones the ones that come at 2am or in the shower or in the middle of a conversation when something small triggers something enormous and you have to excuse yourself before anyone notices.

The silent ones are heavier. Always.

Because they have nowhere to go. No witness. No name. Just you and the feeling and the work of carrying it somewhere nobody can see.

---

I think about the body a lot.

How it knows things before the mind catches up. How it tightens and braces and protects without being asked. How it learns, after enough time, to tuck things away so efficiently that even you forget they're there.

The body fixes itself quietly.

It seals things over. Builds scar tissue in places you didn't know were wounded. And life continues and you continue and everything looks fine from the outside because the body is very good at looking fine.

Until something small cracks the surface. The wrong song. A familiar smell. Someone saying a thing in a way that sounds like something you buried years ago.

And suddenly you feel everything you thought you'd finished feeling.

---

That's why I write.

Not because my life is extraordinary. Not because I have answers or wisdom or anything worth putting on a pedestal.

But because I know what it feels like to have something living in you that has no words yet. And I know what it feels like to finally find the words in someone else's sentence, in a book, in a song, in a story that has nothing to do with you and everything to do with you.

That feeling of being found. Of being seen without having to explain yourself.

That's what writing does.

That's what I'm trying to do every time I sit down and put something on a page.

Make someone feel less alone in whatever they're carrying.

Because everything is writeable.

Even the things you think nobody else would understand.

Especially those.

— Omalia 🖤

At the end of the month, we give out prizes in 3 categories: Best Content, Top Engagers and
Most Engaged Content.
Best Content
Top Engagers
Most Engaged Content
Best Content
We give out cash prizes to between 7 and 20 community members with the best insights in the past month.
The winners are picked by an in-house selection process.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know for the Best Content track
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.
Top Engagers
For the Top Engagers Track, we award the top 3 people who engage the most with other user's content via

The winners are picked using the "Top Monthly Engagers" tab on the rankings page.
Most Engaged Content
The Most Engaged Content recognizes users whose content received the most engagement during the month.
We pick the top 3.
The winners are picked using the "Top Monthly Contributors" tab on the rankings page.
Contributor Rankings
The Rankings/Leaderboard shows the Top 20 contributors and engagers on TwoCents a monthly and all-time basis
— as well as the most active colleges (users attending/that attended those colleges)
The all-time contributors ranking is based on the Contributor Score, which is a measure of all the engagement and exposure a contributor's content receives.
The monthly contributors ranking tracks performance of a user's insights for the current month. The monthly and all-time scores are calcuated DIFFERENTLY.
This page also shows the top engagers on an all-time & monthly basis.
Below is a list of badges on TwoCents and their designations.
