FAMILY 💕
<p>When the whole world turns against me,</p><p>And I feel like I have nowhere to go,</p><p>There is one place I can always return to,</p><p>A place where I know I am loved.</p><p><br/></p><p>My family.</p><p>My parents,</p><p>The ones who stood by me before I even knew</p><p>How much I would need them.</p><p>They watched me grow,</p><p>They prayed for me,</p><p>They corrected me,</p><p>They cared for me,</p><p>And they loved me even when I made mistakes.</p><p><br/></p><p>Their love is not always loud,</p><p>But I see it in the little things.</p><p>In the questions,</p><p>“Have you eaten?”</p><p>“Are you okay?”</p><p>“Where are you going?”</p><p>“Have you arrived safely?”</p><p><br/></p><p>Sometimes, I may not understand all the questions,</p><p>But one day I realise,</p><p>That is love speaking.</p><p><br/></p><p>Then there are my siblings,</p><p>The ones who can annoy me today</p><p>And still defend me tomorrow.</p><p>We argue, we laugh,</p><p>We tease each other,</p><p>We sometimes misunderstand each other,</p><p>But when it truly matters,</p><p>We stand together.</p><p><br/></p><p>Because family is different.</p><p>Friends may leave.</p><p>People may misunderstand you.</p><p>Some may turn their backs on you.</p><p>Some may judge you without knowing your story.</p><p><br/></p><p>But your family can still open their arms</p><p>And say,</p><p>“Come home.”</p><p><br/></p><p>When everyone sees your mistakes,</p><p>Your family remembers your heart.</p><p><br/></p><p>When everyone counts your failures,</p><p>Your family remembers your struggles.</p><p><br/></p><p>When everyone says,</p><p>“You cannot do it,”</p><p>Your family may be the ones saying,</p><p>“Keep going. We believe in you.”</p><p><br/></p><p>That is why I treasure my parents.</p><p>That is why I treasure my siblings.</p><p><br/></p><p>Because family is not just the people</p><p>You share a house with.</p><p>They are the people</p><p>Who share your life with you.</p><p><br/></p><p>They are there when you win,</p><p>And there when you lose.</p><p>They celebrate your happiness,</p><p>And carry your sadness with you.</p><p><br/></p><p>So, no matter how far I go,</p><p>No matter how successful I become,</p><p>I will never forget where I came from.</p><p><br/></p><p>Because when the world becomes too heavy,</p><p>When life becomes difficult,</p><p>When everyone seems to be against me,</p><p>I know there is still a place</p><p>Where I can be myself.</p><p><br/></p><p>My parents.</p><p>My siblings.</p><p>My family.</p><p>My first home,</p><p>My safe place,</p><p>My greatest blessing.</p>
