<p>Having a Crazy Friend Is the Biggest Win</p><p>Having a crazy friend who helps you achieve your goals is the biggest win.</p><p>Emphasis on “crazy friends.” 😂</p><p>I read a book that says, “Change your paradigm.” It has so many principles for living, but in this case, I will be talking about accountability, and this is where having crazy friends matters.</p><p>We sometimes have wild imaginations of things we want to do, and because we have friends who might see these ideas as something stupid or unrealistic, we sometimes tend to swallow them.</p><p>Using Tobe Ugeh (Tobeszn) and Hilda Baci, for example, they are friends. I don’t know how tight they are, but I know they are close. Tobe may have told his friends, including Hilda, that he wanted to travel through all 36 states in one year. Now, looking at that idea, it might sound like a joke, but he had so many people who believed in him. With that support, what seemed like mere imagination eventually became a reality, and he even received an award for tourism.</p><p>And as for Hilda, imagine someone telling you they want to cook a large portion of rice in the biggest pot just to share with people. Crazy, right? 😂 She also won an award (I don’t know the name of the award 😭).</p><p>So, here is where accountability comes in.</p><p>Having a friend who respects you, and being able to tell that person, “This is what I have on my mind. Come what may, I want you to hold me accountable for this kind of life I have told you I want. I want you to help me, not change my mind or make me see this part of my dream as a waste.”</p><p>They help each other to an enormous extent simply because they are accountable to each other.</p><p>An accountability partner is worth their weight in gold. Pick them wisely, and be accountable to them.</p><p>I have one crazy friend who always supports anything I say, even when she knows that I don’t have shi shi to do any of the things I’m planning. 😂 She will always say, “Ufedo, you know you can do this thing, right? Just put your mind to it and you will.”</p><p>That is the spirit. ❤️</p><p>That is how it is meant to be—to make all my crazy ideas become reality.</p><p>Who knows, I might get an award someday. 😉😂😭</p>
