Hard choice..I guess
<p>Oofff</p><p><br/></p><p>I think I have finally reached acceptance</p><p><br/></p><p>Not the kind where I pretend I didn't care</p><p>Or convince myself that it meant nothing</p><p><br/></p><p>I cared</p><p>I wanted it</p><p>I thought about what it could become more times than I can count</p><p><br/></p><p>And maybe that's why it took me so long to accept this</p><p><br/></p><p>There were so many restless nights</p><p>Thinking about what to say</p><p>Whether I should send that message</p><p>Whether one decision could change everything</p><p><br/></p><p>But eventually I realised something</p><p><br/></p><p>I cannot force a chapter to continue just because I wanted to see how it ended</p><p><br/></p><p>Some things don't need another attempt</p><p>Some feelings don't need another confession</p><p>And some stories don't need to be finished to have been real</p><p><br/></p><p>So I'm putting the pen down</p><p><br/></p><p>Not because I stopped caring</p><p>But because I finally understand that caring does not mean I have to keep holding on</p><p><br/></p><p>What happened mattered to me</p><p>What I felt was real</p><p>And I can let those things be true without asking them to become something more</p><p><br/></p><p>There is no more message to send</p><p>No more possibility to protect</p><p>No more ending I need to imagine</p><p><br/></p><p>I don't know what happens from here</p><p><br/></p><p>And for once, I don't need to</p><p><br/></p><p>I can leave it where it is</p><p>And keep walking</p>
