What happens when the once who should protect you are the onces you hide from? When love feels like betrayal.<p><br/></p><p>They called it Care. I called it fear.</p><p>You gave me panic attacks and called it love. Who would love a girl with scars if not you? At least, that's what I told myself.</p><p><br/></p><p>It's strange, how pain can wear the mask of affection. How silence becomes your lullaby. How your able to taste the blood from your own lips because you couldn't say no loud enough.</p><p><br/></p><p>I used to think forgetting was survival. That if I buried the past deep enough, maybe I'd live normal. But it's hard to bury your past when it's written all over your body.</p><p><br/></p><p>And honestly, there's nothing like the guilt you feel when there's room in your heart to love evil. But despite the things you did to me, I know you love me and as hard as it is to admit... I once loved you too, I once loved all the good parts of you.</p>
