I Failed You
<p><br/></p><p>I'm tired of carrying the weight of believing that one day I'll be with you, that one day I'll see you again. I'm exhausted from holding on to the hope that maybe, somehow, you'll be mine... and mine forever.</p><p><br/></p><p>I'm lost, all because you exist. I can still feel your presence even when you're far away.</p><p><br/></p><p>Maybe what hurts the most is knowing that you were taken away by someone I held steadfast in my life. If it had been someone else, I might have found it easier to bear. But you chose him... him, the man I trusted the most.</p><p><br/></p><p>That truly drove me crazy.</p><p><br/></p><p>I really loved you. I did.</p><p><br/></p><p>I just failed to express it in ways you could understand, and that left me hollow.</p><p><br/></p><p>I didn't live up to your expectations, and that's okay. I failed you, just like I feel I've failed everyone else in my life.</p>
