I ordered it Anyway.

Y'all are probably wondering what I ordered, abii?

CHEESEBURGER NI O!

Yes, a cheeseburger. And the funniest part? I absolutely HATE cheese.

Before you judge me, please hear me out.

I have trust issues with online shopping. Not the serious kind, but the what-I-ordered-versus-what-I-got kind. You know, when something looks so good online that you start imagining how amazing it'll taste, only for what arrives to make you question every decision that led you there? Yeah, that kind.

I've had my fair share of disappointments. The last time I ordered food online, all the hype surrounding the food spot convinced me to spend my money.

Unfortunately, what I got was a far cry from what I'd imagined. My money was gone, my expectations were shattered, and I learnt my lesson the hard way.

Or so I thought.

Some time later, I heard people talking about another food spot. The reviews sounded promising, and curiosity started doing what it does best: disturbing my peace.

Considering my previous experience, you'd think I'd mind my business.

But no. I decided to try AGAIN.

And what did I order?

A CHEESEBURGER.

Please, somebody explain to me why a person who hates cheese would willingly order a cheeseburger. Even I don't have an answer. Maybe the picture looked too good, because up till now, I don't know what happened!😭

Whatever happened, I placed my order. All I could do was hope my money hadn't gone on another expensive adventure.

Unfortunately I didn't even take a picture of the food when it arrived because I wasn't expecting much.

First green flag was the packaging. I was like, ahahan, dope packaging!!

Oya nau, here goes nothing.

But mehnnnn, I had to take a picture after my first bite!!!!!!

And guys, I NEED YOU TO UNDERSTAND SOMETHING.

THAT BURGER WAS GOOD. LIKE, RIDICULOUSLY GOOD.

The flavours came together so beautifully that I genuinely had to pause and appreciate what I was eating. The bun, the filling, the combination of everything in that burger? Somehow, it all worked. Every bite made me understand why people could get so excited about a meal.

And the cheese?

Now, this is where things get embarrassing.

Because how was I enjoying something I had spent so long avoiding? 😭

I had expected an ordinary burger, perhaps one I'd tolerate because I'd already paid for it.

Instead, I found myself enjoying every bite, wondering how something I would normally reject could taste this amazing.

It wasn't one of those situations where you convince yourself something is good because you don't want to waste your money. No. I genuinely, wholeheartedly enjoyed that cheeseburger.

And now? I'm actually considering ordering it again.

ME. The person who HATES CHEESE.

Honestly, if you had told me beforehand that I'd eat a cheeseburger, enjoy it this much, and start contemplating a second order, I would have questioned your judgement.

Yet here we are.

Did I suddenly become a cheese lover? Absolutely not. Let's not rewrite history because of one burger. 😂

But that particular cheeseburger? It has earned itself another chance.

Beyond the food, the experience reminded me that one bad experience doesn't mean every new experience will disappoint you. Sometimes, trying again introduces you to something you didn't know you were missing.

Of course, being careful with your money is important. I'm not suggesting you order everything you see online. Read reviews, do your research, and make sensible choices.

But don't let one disappointment convince you that every other experience will end the same way.

In my case, giving online food ordering another chance got me a delicious meal, an unexpected discovery, and a new dilemma. (Dilema because this thing will finish my money oo)😭

Do I order the cheeseburger again, or do I protect my reputation as someone who hates cheese?

Because honestly, at this point, I'm beginning to suspect that cheeseburger and I have unfinished business.

And the worst part?

I'm not even mad about it.😂

You people have sha seen the cheeseburger after my heart.🌚✨

Thanks for stayingggg.

Anways guysss, off to place my next order.

Ciaooo
