I STILL MISS YOU
<p>I don't know when we changed.</p><p>There was a time</p><p>when talking to you felt easy.</p><p>I could tell you anything,</p><p>even the things I couldn't say</p><p>to anyone else.</p><p>Now I look at our old conversations</p><p>and wonder how two people</p><p>who were once so close</p><p>became strangers.</p><p>I still miss you.</p><p>I miss the random conversations,</p><p>the stupid jokes,</p><p>the little things</p><p>that probably meant nothing to you</p><p>but meant so much to me.</p><p>Sometimes I want to text you.</p><p>Just to say hi.</p><p>Just to hear from you again.</p><p>But then I remember</p><p>how different things are now.</p><p>And I stop myself.</p><p>I won't lie,</p><p>I still wonder if you miss me too.</p><p>I wonder if you ever see something</p><p>that reminds you of me.</p><p>I wonder if you ever open our old chats</p><p>and stay there for a while.</p><p>Maybe you don't.</p><p>Maybe you've already moved on.</p><p>And that's the part that hurts the most.</p><p>Because I'm still learning</p><p>how to let go of someone</p><p>I never wanted to lose.</p><p>I don't hate you.</p><p>I don't regret knowing you.</p><p>If anything,</p><p>I'm grateful that for a while,</p><p>I had someone who made me feel</p><p>like I wasn't alone.</p><p>Maybe some people</p><p>aren't meant to stay forever.</p><p>Maybe they're just meant</p><p>to leave something beautiful behind</p><p>before they go.</p><p>So I'll keep the memories.</p><p>I'll miss you sometimes.</p><p>But I'll keep moving.</p><p>Not because I stopped caring,</p><p>but because I finally understand</p><p>that I can't keep holding on</p><p>to someone who's already letting go.</p>
