<p>If I had a dollar for all the words I left unsaid</p><p>Or all the bad habits I bred inside my head</p><p>Or all the good things of life I let slip from the palms of my hands.</p><p><br/></p><p>If I had a dollar for all the times I had to reject crumbs just to build a bakery</p><p>Or all the times I had to have a cold heart just to come out fiery </p><p>Or all the times I sacrificed.</p><p><br/></p><p>If I had a dollar for every tear that I shed</p><p>Or for every masterpiece of an idea I let to die inside my head</p><p>Or for secret that I kept. </p><p><br/></p><p>If I had dollar for every step I took in the dark</p><p>Or for every mask I wore to hide my spark </p><p>Or for every voice that whispered "you are not enough go back" </p><p><br/></p><p>If I had a dollar for all the love I couldn't grasp</p><p>Or all the dreams I let collapse </p><p>Or all the moments I let fear take the pass</p><p><br/></p><p>If I had a dollar for all the love I didn't share</p><p>Or the scars I got from people I showed care</p><p>Or the parts of me I'm yet to repair </p><p><br/></p><p>Add it all up, I'll have a fortune in pain </p><p>But the lesson learnt are where the real wealth remains</p><p>I'd still be standing here, in this mess of mine</p><p>Trying to turn my scars into stars that shine</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>
