Leaking.

Episode~1

Another morning to wake up to a wet bed…

Hmmm..

This has gone on far longer than usual, it should have stopped by now. I thought it was automatic.

I used to like it. Well not like it per se, but it felt normal when I wasn’t the only one left.

When I wasn’t the only one out of four grandchildren.

He thought to himself...

"I'm tired. For real..."

How do I put it? Maybe a little story would help.

A little story of how my little holiday went.

I remembered giving various excuses every time it happened.

Sometimes I would say it's water.

Sometimes I would say the ceiling was leaking.

That was my favorite line, I guess... but it grew old over time.

It was starting to get to me, it’s starting to feel more and more normal.

It became a burden I had to carry in secret.

"PUCAAAAAA!!!!!!!" The voice burst through my thoughts.

My mum's calling...

This is what happens. I'm not even asleep and I've lost consciousness. Half-gone...

Sigh...

I answered, "Maaa!!!!!!!!"

She replied, "Come and soak your bedsheet."

That statement alone brought about a sense of shame I couldn't explain.

"And go and spread that bed out on the balcony," she continued.

Being the oldest grand child here and still bed wetting is……

I guess you know what happened here. Yes, I leaked on my bed.

Now I have to deal with questions, and my mum will definitely not cover for me.

I’m 11 and the rest are below 9.

I moved quickly, hoping someone didn't hear her shout.

Gone are the days I'd see it as normal and go about my day: playing, jumping, shouting, and lots more.

I keep to myself, I don’t play rough. I don’t drink water after 7, I even sang to the electric pole at the front of the house.

It's a start, I guess.

And this is just the beginning of a much larger story…
