<p style="text-align: left;">May Nigeria never happen to us </p><p><br/></p><p>May Nigeria never happen to us </p><p><img src="/media/inline_insight_image/substack-edae07ab-c9fe-44d6-99bc-46507f3c16d0.jpeg"/><br/></p><p>Every day, we pray to Jah </p><p><br/></p><p>For better leaders, </p><p><br/></p><p> To know the worth of a large power culture. </p><p><br/></p><p>We lift up our eyes up to the hills whence cometh our help ,</p><p><br/></p><p>Even when it has been bestowed into the hands of our leaders.</p><p><br/></p><p>May Nigeria never happen to us .</p><p><br/></p><p>Each day;</p><p><br/></p><p>The rate of unemployment increases at an alarming pace,</p><p><br/></p><p>A first-class graduate is no longer valued </p><p><br/></p><p>The need for education is no longer there</p><p><br/></p><p>The Olodo uprising is becoming widespread </p><p><br/></p><p>The millions given to institutions each year;</p><p><br/></p><p>Cannot provides a livelihood for fifty graduates </p><p><br/></p><p>The wisdom that is profitable to direct ;</p><p><br/></p><p>Can no longer be found among youth .</p><p><br/></p><p>Killing a fellow being for something not proved to the world </p><p><br/></p><p>Yet...</p><p><br/></p><p>Someone said because you have not experienced theft </p><p><br/></p><p>Since when did the conviction of heart become proof for theft </p><p><br/></p><p>Does an accusation now deserve a death sentence?</p><p><br/></p><p>When did public opinion become the judge over matters </p><p><br/></p><p>These being that take law into their hands are part of Nigeria. we pray so hard never to happen to us..</p>
