NOBODY TALKS ABOUT OUTGROWING PEOPLE.

Nobody really prepares you for the moment when someone you once couldn't imagine living without slowly becomes someone you can live without.

There is no argument.

No betrayal.

No dramatic goodbye.

Sometimes, you simply begin to notice that things are different.

The conversations don't feel the same anymore.

The excitement you once had to tell them everything slowly disappears.

You still care about them, but you no longer feel the need to explain every part of your life.

And somehow, you feel guilty about it.

We are taught to hold on to people.

To fight for friendships.

To never give up on those we love.

But nobody tells us that sometimes, growing means leaving certain relationships behind.

Not because the person is bad.

Not because you stopped appreciating them.

But because the person you were when you met them is no longer the person you are becoming.

And that's okay.

Some people are meant to walk with us for years.

Others are only meant to accompany us through a particular season.

The difficult part is accepting that a beautiful chapter can still come to an end.

You don't have to hate someone to outgrow them.

You don't have to turn them into a villain just because you no longer fit into each other's lives.

Sometimes, love simply changes its shape.

And sometimes, the healthiest goodbye is the one nobody says out loud.

You just stop forcing what no longer feels natural.

You appreciate what you shared.

You wish them well.

And you keep growing.

Because outgrowing someone doesn't erase what they meant to you. It simply means you can carry the good with you without carrying the relationship forward. Some people belong to the story that shaped you, even if they are not there for the life you build next.
