<p><span style="background-color: transparent;">Gone are the days when we gathered to throwaway ball, treading on mother soil barefooted, chanting and singing the song of a champion, never minding the sun kissing our faces, talk of the hot soil hitting our feet.</span><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>We never counted how many times the ground felt hurtful. Laughing and smiling were the only expressions we knew how to give.</p><p><br/></p><p>Remember sitting on a tree, assisting those who didn't yet know how to climb up the tree.</p><p><br/></p><p>The molding of clay, using it to build houses and constructing drainage across the land, the Baba Suwe games, hide and seek, going about days without having anything to worry about.</p><p><br/></p><p>The adventures to different parts of areas, holding ball competitions, balling in the street, inter-street within the community.</p><p><br/></p><p>The mother soil never betrayed us. Do you remember the confidence we show before entering the field? Touching ground, using it to cross chest and forehead.</p><p><br/></p><p>The circle formation, joining hands, making turning rotations, marching on the soil of hope.</p><p><br/></p><p>The soil that bears our identity, that makes gravitational force steady whenever we run to attack or defend.</p><p><br/></p><p>Those times, that bullying felt friendly because at the end, reconciling will be done, and the journey of making a new buddies gang starts.</p><p><br/></p><p>I remember the time when we go to uncompleted buildings to fight, whenever we quarrel, beating one another blue and black.</p><p><br/></p><p>You may be wondering why we start the fight, often we used it to categorize ranking among the goons.</p><p><br/></p><p>It's funny, reminiscing on old times, and think of how much we miss those days.</p><p><br/></p><p>An imagery brings out this inspiration, showing different types of individuals barefooted on a field, playing ball and enjoying the gallery of nature, surrounded.</p><p><img src="/media/inline_insight_image/Screenshot_20261024-2153142.png"/><br/></p><p>@FP</p>
