The young Man, That Can Be You.

There is this young vibrant man, full of ambition, dreams and goals he wants to achieve in life. While growing up, everything seems easy and comforting, and with little things he gets motivated and remembers he has a dream that must come to reality. But while preparing for that dream and aiming high, he never knew life would come after him with its own challenges in full package. Shortly, he noticed the dream he once had started deteriorating. Family issues started arising with responsibilities. The parents who are supposed to cater for his needs started developing health challenges, and he had to choose between medical bills or his dreams. And for the first time, the young man's dream felt impossible because throughout his whole life, at a very tender age, he never for once thought there would be a tough time like this. Then he continued with life and started doing extra work to ensure the family needs are met and to take care of the hospital bills. And yet again, the young man sat and thought deeply about what has been going on in his life. The education he had to give up, just to continue carrying the burden. Unexpected, unprepared things life threw at him, yet he never neglected or forgot the dream he once aspired to. He kept going, showing up for the family and settling bills. The young man went on with time and continued his struggling life. He never cared what others had to say or people's opinion over the decision he made on letting go of his dream to carry the responsibilities of the family. And he never knew that there is this young man observing him whenever he passed down the street, every single day. He watched and studied how he never complained about the struggle he faced every day or how tired he was. And one day, the young man that kept observing his movement every day called him and asked if he's okay. Yes, I forgot to tell you, the other young man lives across the street with him, and people around the community do call him Big Don. This man is an entrepreneur and he's successful across his businesses within the state and overseas. He called the young man that very day when he was carrying on his daily routine and asked if he's okay. At first glance he said yes, because he assumed he doesn't know who the man is. But Big Don moved closer to him and patted his back and said, it's okay to let out your pains, even to strangers who you barely know, that who knows if such person's encouragement will lift up your burden a little bit. And don't forget, this is his first time being asked if he's okay. The young man replied Big Don, that actually, before he could finish the sentence, tears started rolling from his cheeks and his voice started staggering. Big Don is a big good heart, he invited him into his compound, gave him a very chill glass of juice to step down. At first he wanted to hesitate and turn down the drink. But Big Don insisted that he must take it. After he finished drinking, Big Don asked the same question again and this time, they both made eye contact and the young man gave a soft smile and sat firmly. And he explained the struggle and how he has been sorting out his parents' medical bills for over 6 years and that he had to choose between his dream or the life of his parents.Big Don listened to him without interrupting and asked warmly if he has any relatives, but the young man nodded his head and said No. His story touched Big Don, which made him ask how much he makes in a day from his hustle and he responded, four thousand naira, Sir. And Big Don went inside and came back in a short time with a brown envelope full of cash, and it was handed over to the young man. He was happy, excited and hugged Big Don for showing him kindness, and before he left, Big Don gave him his business card and asked him to reach out to him, that he had an offer for him. He bade him farewell that day and they both parted ways, and when the young man got home and counted the money, he was amazed that the money was around 300k. He was happy and went to break the news to his parents, but on getting there, he saw sets of doctors and nurses in the room where his parents were admitted and when the doctor noticed his arrival, he was called into the office and they explained the condition, that they need to act fast and perform emergency surgery which will cost him 3 million naira. The amount felt like a heavy punch on his face and he went out crying. A moment ago, he was happy and very excited that he found a helper but now he felt unhappy, restless and tired over everything, and suddenly a voice came, saying young man, what happened? And when he raised his head up, it was Big Don again, omo oloremiiiiiiiiiiii 😫😩 he exclaimed. Then he explained to him and Big Don made the payment, and that's how the young man parents got another chance to live one more time. And after the recovery of his parents, they went to greet and appreciate Big Don in his big mansion and thanked him. And Big Don didn't just stop there, he established a business for the young man's parents, set the young man himself up on any business he's willing to venture into and sent him back to school. And what felt like a dream actually came to realization. And his long awaited dream came back knocking, because through resilience and unwillingness to give up on himself, his life experienced a great transformation that inspired many people.
