Our Culture, Our Heritage, Our Tradition (We're African 🌍)
<p>When will we start promoting our culture, our heritage, and our languages?</p><p>The first language you heard. The first words you struggled to pronounce. The traditions you grew up watching. The things your parents taught you before the world started telling you what was “modern.”</p><p>We Nigerians have a beautiful heritage. Yet sometimes, we become so fascinated by other people's cultures that we begin to feel ashamed of our own. We forget where we came from and slowly allow our identity to disappear.</p><p>I remember those moonlight stories, gathering together at night, listening to elders tell stories that could make you laugh, think, or even fear going outside. 😂 The moonlight games, the creativity of children, the little local cars we built and decorated with beautiful lights. We had almost nothing, yet somehow, we created something out of it.</p><p>Those memories weren't useless. They were pieces of our identity.</p><p>Maybe we need to go down memory lane and start talking about those beautiful olden days. Teach our children our languages. Tell them our stories. Preserve our traditions. Celebrate what makes us different.</p><p>Modernization should not mean erasing our roots.</p><p>We are Africans.</p><p>Our culture is our identity.</p><p>Our language is our voice.</p><p>Our heritage is our inheritance.</p><p>Let's not become strangers to our own history. ❤️🌍</p>
