<p style="text-align: justify; ">There was once a boy who was always starting something.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">Not because he knew exactly where he was going, but because standing still scared him more.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">One morning, he wanted to become better at writing.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">He wrote badly.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">Then he wrote again.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">Sometimes he would stare at a sentence for ten minutes, wondering why it didn't sound the way it sounded in his head. So he kept learning. He read. He rewrote. He deleted things he once thought were perfect.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">Then he found another road.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">This time, it had strange names, unfamiliar people, and opportunities he didn't completely understand.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">He entered anyway.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">He learned how communities worked. He learned how people built things together. He tried to make himself useful, even when he wasn't sure he belonged there yet.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">Some days, he felt like he was finally getting somewhere.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">Other days, he felt like the same boy who had started months ago.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">But somewhere along the way, something changed.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">He stopped being afraid of not knowing.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">He started asking better questions.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">He started creating things instead of only watching other people create them.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">He wrote stories about people who were lost, people who were hiding, people trying to find their way home.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">Perhaps he was writing about them.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">Perhaps he wasn't.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">Eventually, he even began building something of his own.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">It wasn't perfect.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">Neither was he.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">But for the first time, he looked at what was in front of him and didn't ask, “Am I ready?”</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">He simply asked, “What do I do next?”</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">And maybe that was the real journey.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">Not becoming the person he had imagined.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">Just becoming someone who could keep going whenever the old version of himself ran out of answers.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">The boy is still starting things.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">The difference is that now, he knows that starting over is not the same as starting from nothing.</p>

The winners are picked by an in-house selection process.

rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.

Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.

Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.

Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.

For the Top Engagers Track, we award the top 3 people who engage the most with other user's content via
comments.
The winners are picked using the "Top Monthly Engagers" tab on the rankings page.
Most Engaged Content
The Most Engaged Content recognizes users whose content received the most engagement during the month.
We pick the top 3.

Contributor Rankings
The Rankings/Leaderboard shows the Top 20 contributors and engagers on TwoCents a monthly and all-time basis
— as well as the most active colleges (users attending/that attended those colleges)
The all-time contributors ranking is based on the Contributor Score, which is a measure of all the engagement and exposure a contributor's content receives.
The monthly contributors ranking tracks performance of a user's insights for the current month. The monthly and all-time scores are calcuated DIFFERENTLY.
This page also shows the top engagers on an all-time & monthly basis.
