The conversation (Part 3)

**Permit me to think a little crazy.** Or maybe not. Because Remy was not a rat. He was a human in rat flesh. There, that's what he is. In fact, you can't tell me otherwise. I won't believe you. 😂😂😂🤧 Okay, okay, before you start asking what I'm raving about... **Ratatouille.** Yep, you heard me write. 😂 Sorry. You heard me right. I just finished watching *Ratatouille* and... **I'm blown away.** Now you might be wondering, what's so interesting? What's so special? "It's just a rat being intelligent." Well, whoever wrote that story definitely wasn't thinking about *a rat being intelligent*, I believe. Because that rat was telling a story about **people.** The discovery of a talent and intelligence. The struggle of having something extraordinary within you but not knowing what to do with it. Using something that amazing for just local benefit. Getting lost. Having to find purpose through undeniable, inevitable survival mode. Almost being destroyed in the risk. Being discovered by someone who understood value. Being taken advantage of. Being hurt. Breaking a promise massively. Being considerate. Repenting. Being appreciated. And then, somehow, it all ends with everyone working together. Everyone playing their part. Everyone contributing what they have. And everyone finally getting to experience the beauty of what happens when great individual abilities are harnessed together. And I think that's what really got me. **Everyone had a weakness.** Not everyone was in the spotlight. Not everyone had the same talent. Not everyone was the genius. But everyone had something to contribute. And they did what they could. They did what they should. And somehow, everyone was happy. Except for the selfish, stupid and immature ones who refused to learn sha. 😂 I love Remy. And I love what his character portrayed. Actually, I think being a rat was the **best** character choice for him. Because if Remy had been human... Hmmmmmm. The message would have been weaker. Because sometimes, **we are the rats.** We have something in us. Something intelligent. Something beautiful. Something that could become extraordinary. But we don't always know how to handle it. Sometimes we use it wrongly. Sometimes we hide it. Sometimes we allow other people to determine what we're capable of. Sometimes we get lost. Sometimes survival becomes our only concern. Sometimes we hurt people. Sometimes we break promises. Sometimes we have to learn humility, responsibility, repentance and collaboration. And sometimes, we need someone who can look at us and say, *"I see something in you."* But here's the thing: **If we refuse to go through the stages, we will remain just rats.** Not because there is anything wrong with being a rat. But because there's a difference between **having potential** and **becoming what you're capable of becoming.** Remy didn't just have talent. He had to learn what to do with it. And perhaps that's the real lesson. You can have the gift. You can have the intelligence. You can have the potential. You can even have someone who believes in you. But at some point, you have to learn how to use what is inside you. You have to grow. You have to learn. You have to take responsibility. You have to play your part. And sometimes... You have to let other people play theirs too. Because maybe the goal was never for one person to shine alone. Maybe the beauty is in what happens when **everybody brings what they have to the table.** Anyway... That's my crazy little thought after watching a rat cook better than most humans. 😂😭 **Anticipate the next episode.**
