Lips that smiled began to confess, While hearts undressed their pretence.</strong><br/></h3><p><strong><br/></strong></p><p><strong>Lovers unveiled the love they faked, And friendships died from truths they spake. The faithful trembled, the sinners spoke, And silence shattered beneath each oath.</strong></p><p><strong><br/></strong></p><p><strong>The rich confessed what money concealed, The poor exposed what hunger revealed. The pulpit shook, the palace cried, As truth dragged secrets into daylight.</strong></p><p><strong><br/></strong></p><p><strong>We begged for truth, but feared its face, We preached of love, yet practised hate. We wanted honesty, pure and free, Until its mirror showed you and me.</strong></p><p><strong><br/></strong></p><p><strong>By dusk, the world had lost its peace, Some found the truth, some lost release. Then midnight came, the lies returned, And truth became a lesson unlearned.</strong></p><p><strong><br/></strong></p><p><strong>The world rejoiced, its masks restored, Each mouth reclaimed its hidden sword. I woke, still haunted by the scene, Such a day existed only in my dream.</strong></p>
