The Story Behind DMY Part 2 - by Dmy Art 🎨🖌️

Thanks to the person who gave me spag way no let me die of hunger 😂 Okay, where did I stop again? 🤔 I think I got that one. No vex 😂 So, as I was saying about my favourite shoe… I was still in secondary school then Junior secondary, to be precise 😂 Unknown to me, that shoe had been carrying my name all along I had been looking at it like just another normal writing/design on a normal shoe, not knowing there was something on it that would later become a big part of my story The shoe had this statement written at the back: DMY At that time, it meant absolutely nothing to me Just three letters sitting quietly at the back of my shoe 😂 But I honestly can't remember who first called my attention to it because this was a long time ago Although, I have a feeling it was my cousin brother The one people normally call my twin because they say we look alike 😂 But different mothers and different fathers o… How are we twins? As I was saying before my twin poke nose 😂 He's the one that actually call my attention to it cuz my normal nickname i had before we both think about it till we come up with Dammy Yung and i love the name I don't know why my cousin love giving people nicknames Let me quickly branch somewhere 😂 I remember he once gave his crush a nickname, and the nickname was somehow similar to his own. Before we knew what was happening, people started calling her by that nickname. From us as classmates… To teachers sef 😂 Omo, I go love o 🤦🏽‍♂️😂 Anyway, back to my shoe One faithful day, my cousin looked at the shoe Not that he had not been seeing it before o But that particular day, something just clicked 😆 Maybe the inspiration came straight from heaven 😂 Then he said something like: “This DMY can also be a short way of saying your name. Instead of saying Dammy Yung, you can just use DMY.” Omo… See ehemmmmm… 😭🤦‍♂️ I don't even know how to explain the feeling, if you know it help me finish that Thank you 😜 but somehow, that thing entered my head And that was how DMY started becoming more than just three letters written at the back of a shoe It could stand for two things: DMY as DAMMY And DMY as DAMMY YUNG So now I have a small decision to make 🤔 I've been using both for a while now, but I usually use Dammy more But now, I want to finally settle on one meaning for DMY as my creative name And this is where you guys come in 👀 Should DMY stand for: DammyorDammy Yung?
