I was busy, tired, and honestly just wanted to rest. My phone kept buzzing, but I ignored it. “I’ll reply later,” I told myself.</p><p>It was my friend. She wasn’t the type to disturb anyone, so I didn’t think much of it.</p><p>Later that evening, I finally checked my phone.</p><p>There were several messages.</p><p>“I need someone to talk to…”</p><p>“Are you there?”</p><p>"Hello" ...</p><p>You said you'll always be there for me...</p><p>“Please reply me…”</p><p>Then the last one made my heart drop.</p><p>“I guess you’re busy. Sorry for disturbing you.”</p><p>I called immediately, but it was too late. She had already gone offline, and I found out later she was going through something really serious that day. I kept staring at my phone, feeling empty. I couldn't help myself, I felt different.</p><p>It wasn’t about being busy anymore. It was about realizing that sometimes people don’t need perfect replies they just need presence.</p><p>Since that day, I stopped ignoring messages that feel “small.” Because sometimes, the smallest message hides the biggest pain.</p><p> Breaking someone's trust is like crumpling a piece of paper.
