Until we met
<p>The last time, I was delusional </p><p>The next time, he called me 'tallest' </p><p>This timeeeeee... I actually made a move and man do I regret it .</p><p>I woke up on a Saturday morning already tired and grumpy when my sister tells me </p><p>"It's your man's birthday"</p><p>I crease my brows "Who?" </p><p>She takes out her phone and shows me a picture of him.</p><p> and a smile grace my lips.</p><p>I picked up my phone, stalking the whole process.</p><p>In the picture, he was on his ocean blue native and him cap.</p><p>I couldn't see his hands but I knew he had a matching watch.</p><p>Everyone was wishing him happy birthday on the group.</p><p>Everyone except me.</p><p>I just couldn't. </p><p>So I dropped my phone down and went about my day. </p><p>I went for choir practice later and had to excuse myself to take a call from my friend</p><p>"Heyyy, you do know today is his birthday right?"</p><p>I smiled, "I know" </p><p>"You should wish him" </p><p>"I don't think I can" </p><p>"You should" </p><p>"If you get me his number, I'd text him" </p><p>"Okay" </p><p>She ended the call and I grinned </p><p>I hope she knows I'm bluffing right?. Rightttttt.</p><p>I returned to continue rehearsing when she called again.</p><p>"Did you not want to pick up the call" </p><p>I chuckled, "I picked didn't I?"</p><p>"I got the numberrrr" </p><p>"Ehhhhhhhhhhhhh" </p><p>"I got the number"</p><p>"Jesusssssss... how did you...-"</p><p>"You don't want to knowwww"</p><p>"I'm scared just thinking about texting him" </p><p>"You have it somewhere in youuuu, keep me updated" </p><p>I sighed as she ended the call.</p><p>I went online and saw the number .</p><p>She actually did it. </p><p>I took a deep breath as heat rose up to my chest </p><p>I tapped the number took a deep breath and went back inside </p><p>There's no way I'm doing this.</p><p>I watched the choir sing a song I was to take the next day while I worried about what to say to him.</p><p>I looked at the empty chat again.</p><p>"Precious" </p><p>I looked up. </p><p>"Yes" </p><p>"Come and take the song" </p><p>As if I can remember</p><p>I stood up taking my phone with me as I typed, looked at it once for typos and twice while I prayed for him to reply.</p><p>I dropped my phone on a speaker far away from me and I picked up the mic.</p><p>God please </p><p>The lyrics rushed out of my mouth as I recounted what I sent to him.</p><p><br/></p>
