WE DESERVE A BREAK 😮💨
<p>Just recently, a group of 500level nursing students were suspended and expelled "as the case may be" and if you were to ask me what their offense was..... </p><p><br/></p><p>They made a dance video that eventually became a trend, using the caption "no sick ooh, na genZ full hospital"...</p><p><br/></p><p>Now, I am not in full support of what they did though but this singular act has raised a triggering concern and has instilled great fear upon the students in the University, what do I mean??....</p><p><br/></p><p>I study at a university were social activities are banned one by one....</p><p><br/></p><p>First, it was the "no more gender switch day"...</p><p><br/></p><p>Then, "no white T-shirts should be signed on during sign out day"... And just when we thought that it was enough, they came again...</p><p><br/></p><p>Now, the present matter on debate in the school's Senate house is "NO MORE FYB WEEK"...Haaaaa!!! Allow us to breathe, please!!!!</p><p><br/></p><p>We sincerely deserve a break!!!</p><p><br/></p><p>Just a week that final year students dedicate to have fun and not think about all the struggle..</p><p><br/></p><p>The tests...</p><p><br/></p><p>The projects....</p><p><br/></p><p>The sapa periods😭....</p><p><br/></p><p>The lecturer vs student saga.... Oh Chim🤧</p><p><br/></p><p>And so on...they want to take it all away from us</p><p><br/></p><p>What will now be left of us???</p><p><br/></p><p>How are we expected to function well in our studies if every little thing that makes us smile is taken away from us 😞...</p><p><br/></p><p>You do something lively, you are suspended ....</p><p><br/></p><p>You plan a social gathering, they say you are dragging the image of the institution in the mud...</p><p><br/></p><p>How did we get here???</p><p><br/></p><p>Please, we truly deserve a break.</p>
