After a very long research on Lindsay Clancy's case, I discovered that out of 12 jurors 11 found Lindsay Clancy not criminally responsible, this means the case should not be taken legally due to the illness But also one of the jurors disagreed, which is Michael Desronvil he remained the holdout and believed she was criminally responsible and should be convicted.

I stand in this case to oppose ,saying this case should be taken into full legal authority. Considering the fact that she has mental illness, she would be in a rehabilitation centre under the supervision of legal authorities

Postpartum psychosis is a mental illness in a person from childbirth and can result in hallucinations, confusion, agitation, and so on.

My opponent may say she is also a victim, I agree ,but she is a victim of psychosis. The husband is a victim, the children are victims, and they have rights, you know ?

These children are also citizens of the country, and they are also entitled to the rights that say right to life and protection and other privileges.

I accept that her mental illness is not to be pushed aside .but it doesn't mean the death should have no legal consequences at all , mental illness can affect the kind of justice someone receives without making the victims' deaths legally irrelevant. Which was why I recommended a rehab or a therapist under legal.

The husband should be considered also. He came home to a silent house and discovered the horrifying aftermath of what happened to his children

Let us not be selfish into thinking that Lindsay Clancy needs to be cared for and forget about the rest ,we should think of others ,the children were robbed of their future, therefore let's look into the matter and see why this case needs accountability. She committed a crime and needed to face the consequences, but considering Lindsay's state of being, I believe consequences should involve a rehabilitation centre under legal supervision.

Most Engaged Content.
Best Content
Top Engagers
Most Engaged Content
Best Content
We give out cash prizes to between 7 and 20 community members with the best insights in the past month.
The winners are picked by an in-house selection process.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know for the Best Content track
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
