When Love Dies Quietly
<p>Love rarely dies with a goodbye.</p><p><br/></p><p>Sometimes,</p><p>it dies between unanswered messages,</p><p>between conversations that become shorter,</p><p>between two hearts</p><p>that slowly stop reaching for each other.</p><p><br/></p><p>There is no funeral.</p><p>No final moment of silence.</p><p>No one tells you,</p><p>“Today, it ended.”</p><p><br/></p><p>You simply notice</p><p>that the person who once couldn't wait to hear from you</p><p>now takes hours to reply.</p><p><br/></p><p>You notice the warmth is gone.</p><p>The questions disappear.</p><p>The little things they used to remember</p><p>become things they no longer notice.</p><p><br/></p><p>And you pretend not to see it.</p><p><br/></p><p>Because admitting that love is fading</p><p>feels like admitting</p><p>that something you fought so hard to keep</p><p>has already slipped through your hands.</p><p><br/></p><p>So you stay.</p><p><br/></p><p>You replay old conversations,</p><p>searching for the moment everything changed.</p><p>You wonder if you said too much,</p><p>cared too much,</p><p>or somehow became</p><p>too difficult to love.</p><p><br/></p><p>But sometimes,</p><p>love doesn't die because someone failed.</p><p><br/></p><p>Sometimes,</p><p>people simply change.</p><p><br/></p><p>And that's what makes it hurt.</p><p><br/></p><p>Because how do you hate someone</p><p>who once made you happy?</p><p><br/></p><p>How do you blame a heart</p><p>for no longer feeling what it once felt?</p><p><br/></p><p>So you quietly accept the distance.</p><p><br/></p><p>You stop asking why.</p><p>You stop waiting for the message.</p><p>You stop imagining the future</p><p>you once built around them.</p><p><br/></p><p>And one day,</p><p>you realize something strange:</p><p><br/></p><p>You can remember them</p><p>without wishing they would return.</p><p><br/></p><p>That's when you know</p><p>the love has finally died.</p><p><br/></p><p>Not because it was meaningless</p><p><br/></p><p>but because you finally learned</p><p>how to live</p><p>after it ended.</p>
