<p><strong>Maybe he wasn't my opposite.</strong></p><p><strong>Maybe he was me...</strong></p><p><br/></p><p>I am darkness.</p><p>He is light.</p><p><br/></p><p>A stepping stone to things I'd never become.</p><p><br/></p><p>He's the yang to my yin, the ash to my coal.</p><p><br/></p><p>Without him, I simply won't be.</p><p><br/></p><p>There's a part of me in him and him in me.</p><p><br/></p><p>Although he hates to admit.</p><p><br/></p><p>They shun me; they hate me.</p><p><br/></p><p>His appearance is as holy as alum.</p><p>Mine? As dark as 'coal.</p><p><br/></p><p>But they don't know we belong together.</p><p><br/></p><p>Without me, they wouldn't know him.</p><p><br/></p><p>Without his absence, I wouldn't exist.</p><p><br/></p><p>They don't know I'm present in every single one of them who point fingers hoping I'd disappear.</p><p><br/></p><p>Without me he wouldn't exist. They wouldn't know his presence.</p><p>He hates that.</p><p><br/></p><p>He wants the world to shun me.</p><p><br/></p><p>He wants my place.</p><p>He wants my glory.</p><p><br/></p><p>I was born from abandonment. He was born from love.</p><p><br/></p><p>He waters the plants with love and everything he touches blossoms.</p><p><br/></p><p>Everything I touch, surrenders.</p><p><br/></p><p>I live in an abyss, it's my home.</p><p><br/></p><p>The beauty of it? It belongs to me.</p><p><br/></p><p>Everything I love, gives their light to me.</p><p><br/></p><p>No one notices that I'm a boy who didn't choose this.</p><p><br/></p><p>They do not know that he always tries to take me. To make me his muse.</p><p><br/></p><p>He derives pleasure in causing my pain.</p><p><br/></p><p>He always tries to take my fame.</p><p><br/></p><p>I aspire to be him, to be loved; The hero everyone adores.</p><p><br/></p><p>But maybe, there's beauty in hatred.</p><p><br/></p><p>The fire produces a mixture of us. I think it's pure beauty.</p><p><br/></p><p>He hates it and always tries to leave.</p><p><br/></p><p>Once again, betrayal feels like home.</p><p><br/></p><p>He is ash and I am coal.</p><p><br/></p><p>He's the yang to my yin. An element long foreseen.</p><p><br/></p><p>Maybe, just maybe I am him and he is me.</p>
