<p>Yes!!!</p><p>I said it, you should die.</p><p>Ohhhh you think I'll be scared to tell you the truth? I no dey fear you bros, I no dey fear you aunty.</p><p><br/></p><p>Oya oya calm down, I'm not talking about the physical death.</p><p>You should die to flesh.</p><p>That pride.</p><p>That bitterness.</p><p>That anger.</p><p>That lust.</p><p>That jealousy</p><p>The parts of you that keep choosing what feels good over what is right.</p><p><br/></p><p>The Bible says we should put to death the deeds of the flesh.</p><p><br/></p><p>And sometimes, that's exactly what we need.</p><p><br/></p><p>Not a new environment.</p><p><br/></p><p>Not new friends.</p><p><br/></p><p>Not another prayer for God to change everything around us.</p><p><br/></p><p>Sometimes, we need to let the old us die.</p><p><br/></p><p>Die to the things that keep pulling us away from God.</p><p><br/></p><p>Die to the habits we keep making excuses for.</p><p><br/></p><p>Die to the pride that won't let us say, “I was wrong.”</p><p><br/></p><p>Die to the desire to have our way all the time.</p><p><br/></p><p>Because you cannot keep feeding the flesh and expect the Spirit to grow.</p><p><br/></p><p>So yes...</p><p><br/></p><p>You should die.</p><p><br/></p><p>Not so you can cease to exist.</p><p><br/></p><p>But so the person God is calling you to become can finally live.</p><p><br/></p><p>What is one thing in you that needs to die?</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>
