<p>What do you think about waist beads?</p><p>Like what to your mind when you ‘hear waist beads’</p><p>I used to be among the people that will shout ‘God forbid, I can’t wear waist beads, it’s only **** girls that wear them’.</p><p>But everything changed.</p><p>As a pre teen, my mom used to make neck beads for women, her brand was on a different level and it was very affordable.</p><p>My mom became popular in the barracks, getting customers from the ‘officers wives’ and it was a very big thing back then.</p><p>My mom taught me how to make beads with different designs and ornaments, she taught me color combinations and patterns.</p><p>I was only allowed to wear neck beads and hand beads, ‘waist beads are not good’ that’s what I always hear.</p><p>But everything changed.</p><p>2020 Covid 19 era</p><p>One day I told my mom ‘I prefer making waist beads for sell, and she agreed.</p><p>That was one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself.</p><p>I started cheaply, I learnt how to deal with customers, I understood market dynamics.</p><p>I was a ‘vendor’ and a proud one.</p><p>I made money from the business.</p><p>It helped me in school, I was known as ‘mercy beads’. </p><p>WAIST BEADS💝</p><p>There’s just something about waist beads.</p><p>Whenever I take them off, I feel incomplete.</p><p>I’ve been wearing them for years now and it feels like a part of me. </p><p>It helps me watch my weight and it has been really helpful for that purpose, recently they’re no longer tight, which means I’ve lost a little weight. </p><p>Do you love waist beads?</p><p>Will you let your woman wear them?</p><p><br/></p>
