BORN TOO LATE
<p>Someone once said life would have been better if we had dinosaurs.</p><p><br/></p><p>And it made me think.</p><p><br/></p><p>There was once a time when earth had creatures we couldn't have imagined, even in our wildest imaginations.</p><p><br/></p><p>Where dinosaurs roamed free.</p><p><br/></p><p>Where giant insects existed.</p><p><br/></p><p>Where weird looking prehistoric creatures swam in the ocean.</p><p><br/></p><p>Where the earth would look completely unfamiliar depending on which period you were born into.</p><p><br/></p><p>Where there weren't any singing birds because they didn't even exist yet.</p><p><br/></p><p>A time when the planet belonged to creatures we'd never meet.</p><p><br/></p><p> (Sighs in b4 b4)</p><p><br/></p><p>Now that I look at it.</p><p><br/></p><p>Earth's a really boring planet.</p><p><br/></p><p>There are no dinosaurs.</p><p><br/></p><p>No fairies.</p><p><br/></p><p>No dragons.</p><p><br/></p><p>No mermaids.</p><p><br/></p><p>No unicorns.</p><p><br/></p><p>No talking animals.</p><p><br/></p><p>No magical forest where mysterious things live.</p><p><br/></p><p>No tiny people living in trees.</p><p><br/></p><p>No portals to other dimensions.</p><p><br/></p><p>Nothing.</p><p><br/></p><p>And the most disappointing part is Earth used to be so much fun.</p><p><br/></p><p>Maybe they do exist.</p><p><br/></p><p>Maybe they all ran away because humans ruin everything.</p><p><br/></p><p>Or maybe they live behind the ice wall.</p><p><br/></p><p> (Sighs in conspiracy theories)</p><p><br/></p><p>Now we just have weird, annoying people 😭😭.</p><p><br/></p><p>Insecurity.</p><p><br/></p><p>Instability.</p><p><br/></p><p>Inflation.</p><p><br/></p><p>Poverty.</p><p><br/></p><p>Capitalism.</p><p><br/></p><p>Imagine being born in a world with dinosaurs, dying then reincarnating into one with mosquitoes and bugs.</p><p><br/></p><p> (Sigh in life don tire-me-ness😮💨)</p><p><br/></p><p>I've come to realize life is painfully ordinary.</p><p><br/></p><p>The world used to be so much fun.</p><p><br/></p><p>But look at it now.</p><p><br/></p><p>I sometimes wonder if one day we'd die out.</p><p><br/></p><p>Wiped clean off the surface of the earth.</p><p><br/></p><p>Like we never even existed.</p><p><br/></p><p>Only to be found millions of years later when a new species emerges.</p><p><br/></p><p>What will they look like?</p><p><br/></p><p>What will they sound like?</p><p><br/></p><p>Will they have technology?</p><p><br/></p><p>Will they teach about us in schools like we taught about the species before us?</p><p><br/></p><p>Will they wonder what it was like to be human?</p><p><br/></p><p>Will they know about previous species?</p><p><br/></p><p>Will they start the world off from the beginning?</p><p><br/></p><p>Or will they pick off where we left off?</p><p><br/></p><p>Maybe I'm moving mad.</p><p><br/></p><p>Or maybe because I never chop sha.</p><p><br/></p><p>All is well.</p><p><br/></p><p> (Sighs in all is well)</p><p><br/></p><p>Lemme go and rewatch The Croods.</p>
