Do you have to extremely smart to learn coding?
<p>💻 Do You Have to Be Extremely Smart to Learn Coding?</p><p><br/></p><p>One thing I used to believe about coding was:</p><p><br/></p><p>“You have to be extremely intelligent to become a programmer.”</p><p><br/></p><p>Maybe you've thought the same thing.</p><p><br/></p><p>Maybe you've seen people writing hundreds of lines of code and thought:</p><p><br/></p><p>“How do these people understand all of this?”</p><p><br/></p><p>Maybe you've opened a coding tutorial, looked at the screen for five minutes, and immediately thought:</p><p><br/></p><p>“This isn't for me.”</p><p><br/></p><p>But the more I learn about technology, the more I realize that this idea isn't completely true.</p><p><br/></p><p>You don't have to be a genius to learn how to code.</p><p><br/></p><p>You need something much more important:</p><p><br/></p><p>Patience, practice, curiosity, and the willingness to keep learning.</p><p><br/></p><p>🧠 Coding Isn't About Knowing Everything</p><p><br/></p><p>When people hear the word “programming,” they sometimes imagine someone sitting in front of a computer and instantly knowing exactly what to type.</p><p><br/></p><p>That's not how it works.</p><p><br/></p><p>Even experienced developers don't remember everything.</p><p><br/></p><p>They search for information.</p><p><br/></p><p>They read documentation.</p><p><br/></p><p>They look at examples.</p><p><br/></p><p>They make mistakes.</p><p><br/></p><p>They test their code.</p><p><br/></p><p>They discover bugs.</p><p><br/></p><p>They fix those bugs.</p><p><br/></p><p>Then they move on.</p><p><br/></p><p>The difference between a beginner and an experienced developer isn't necessarily that the experienced developer knows everything.</p><p><br/></p><p>It's that they have learned how to solve problems.</p><p><br/></p><p>And that's one of the most important things coding teaches you.</p><p><br/></p><p>🔍 Learning to Solve Problems</p><p><br/></p><p>Imagine you write some HTML and your image doesn't appear on your webpage.</p><p><br/></p><p>A beginner might think:</p><p><br/></p><p>“My code is broken. I can't do this.”</p><p><br/></p><p>But instead of giving up, you can ask:</p><p><br/></p><p>Is the image file in the correct folder?</p><p><br/></p><p>Did I type the filename correctly?</p><p><br/></p><p>Did I use the correct HTML tag?</p><p><br/></p><p>Did I write the path correctly?</p><p><br/></p><p>Did I forget something?</p><p><br/></p><p>You investigate.</p><p><br/></p><p>You try something.</p><p><br/></p><p>You make a change.</p><p><br/></p><p>You test it again.</p><p><br/></p><p>Eventually, you find the problem.</p><p><br/></p><p>That small experience is actually teaching you something valuable.</p><p><br/></p><p>You're learning how to approach problems instead of immediately giving up when something doesn't work.</p><p><br/></p><p>👨‍💻 Start Small</p><p><br/></p><p>One of the biggest mistakes beginners make is trying to learn everything at once.</p><p><br/></p><p>They see HTML.</p><p><br/></p><p>Then CSS.</p><p><br/></p><p>Then JavaScript.</p><p><br/></p><p>Then Python.</p><p><br/></p><p>Then databases.</p><p><br/></p><p>Then GitHub.</p><p><br/></p><p>Then frameworks.</p><p><br/></p><p>Then artificial intelligence.</p><p><br/></p><p>Suddenly, they feel overwhelmed.</p><p><br/></p><p>But you don't have to learn everything at once.</p><p><br/></p><p>You can start with something small.</p><p><br/></p><p>For example, if you're completely new to web development, you can start with HTML.</p><p><br/></p><p>Learn what a heading is.</p><p><br/></p><p>Learn what a paragraph is.</p><p><br/></p><p>Learn how links work.</p><p><br/></p><p>Learn how to add images.</p><p><br/></p><p>Learn how lists work.</p><p><br/></p><p>Then create a simple webpage.</p><p><br/></p><p>That's enough for a beginning.</p><p><br/></p><p>Once you're comfortable, you can move forward.</p><p><br/></p><p>🌱 Your First Project Doesn't Have to Be Amazing</p><p><br/></p><p>Another reason people get discouraged is because they compare their first project to someone else's finished work.</p><p><br/></p><p>You might create your first webpage and think:</p><p><br/></p><p>“This looks terrible.”</p><p><br/></p><p>Meanwhile, someone else has created a beautiful website with animations, colors, responsive layouts and advanced features.</p><p><br/></p><p>Don't compare the two.</p><p><br/></p><p>That person may have been learning for years.</p><p><br/></p><p>Your first website isn't supposed to compete with their tenth or hundredth project.</p><p><br/></p><p>Your first project has a different purpose.</p><p><br/></p><p>It's supposed to teach you.</p><p><br/></p><p>Maybe your first webpage has only a heading, a paragraph and an image.</p><p><br/></p><p>That's okay.</p><p><br/></p><p>You created something.</p><p><br/></p><p>That's progress.</p><p><br/></p><p>Then you improve it.</p><p><br/></p><p>Maybe you add links.</p><p><br/></p><p>Then lists.</p><p><br/></p><p>Then forms.</p><p><br/></p><p>Then CSS.</p><p><br/></p><p>Then animations.</p><p><br/></p><p>Step by step, your simple webpage can become something much more impressive.</p><p><br/></p><p>😅 You Will Make Mistakes</p><p><br/></p><p>If you're learning to code, prepare yourself for errors.</p><p><br/></p><p>You will type something incorrectly.</p><p><br/></p><p>You will forget a closing tag.</p><p><br/></p><p>You will spell something wrong.</p><p><br/></p><p>You will save a file in the wrong place.</p><p><br/></p><p>You will wonder why something isn't working even though you've looked at the code ten times.</p><p><br/></p><p>And sometimes the problem will be something ridiculously small. 😂</p><p><br/></p><p>That's normal.</p><p><br/></p><p>Don't interpret every mistake as proof that you're not good enough.</p><p><br/></p><p>Instead, treat mistakes as information.</p><p><br/></p><p>Every error is telling you:</p><p><br/></p><p>“Something here needs to be changed.”</p><p><br/></p><p>The goal isn't to never make mistakes.</p><p><br/></p><p>The goal is to become better at finding and fixing them.</p><p><br/></p><p>📚 Learning Takes Time</p><p><br/></p><p>We live in a world where people want instant results.</p><p><br/></p><p>You watch a video today and expect to become an expert tomorrow.</p><p><br/></p><p>But real learning doesn't usually happen that way.</p><p><br/></p><p>You might understand something today and forget it tomorrow.</p><p><br/></p><p>You might practice something several times before it finally makes sense.</p><p><br/></p><p>You might struggle with a topic for a week and suddenly understand it one day.</p><p><br/></p><p>That's learning.</p><p><br/></p><p>Don't rush yourself.</p><p><br/></p><p>Give yourself permission to be a beginner.</p><p><br/></p><p>Being a beginner isn't embarrassing.</p><p><br/></p><p>Everyone who is good at something started without knowing how to do it.</p><p><br/></p><p>💡 What Teaching Beginners Has Taught Me</p><p><br/></p><p>Since I'm also teaching beginners HTML, I've realized that people often underestimate themselves.</p><p><br/></p><p>Someone may say:</p><p><br/></p><p>“I don't think I can code.”</p><p><br/></p><p>Then they write their first few lines.</p><p><br/></p><p>They see the result.</p><p><br/></p><p>And suddenly they realize:</p><p><br/></p><p>“Wait... I actually did this.”</p><p><br/></p><p>That moment is powerful.</p><p><br/></p><p>Sometimes the biggest obstacle isn't the technology.</p><p><br/></p><p>It's the belief that you can't learn it.</p><p><br/></p><p>You don't need to know everything before you start.</p><p><br/></p><p>You just need to be willing to learn the next thing.</p><p><br/></p><p>Then the next one.</p><p><br/></p><p>Then the next.</p><p><br/></p><p>🚀 So, Can Anyone Learn to Code?</p><p><br/></p><p>Not everyone will become a professional software developer.</p><p><br/></p><p>And that's okay.</p><p><br/></p><p>But I believe many people can learn the fundamentals of coding if they're willing to practice and stay patient.</p><p><br/></p><p>You don't have to start with complicated programming languages.</p><p><br/></p><p>You don't have to understand everything immediately.</p><p><br/></p><p>You don't need an expensive computer to begin learning the basics.</p><p><br/></p><p>You simply need a starting point.</p><p><br/></p><p>For someone interested in websites, that starting point could be HTML.</p><p><br/></p><p>For someone else, it could be something completely different.</p><p><br/></p><p>The important thing is to start.</p><p><br/></p><p>🔥 Now I Want to Hear From You</p><p><br/></p><p>Have you ever wanted to learn coding but stopped yourself because you thought it was too difficult?</p><p><br/></p><p>Or maybe you've already tried coding and eventually gave up.</p><p><br/></p><p>Tell me honestly:</p><p><br/></p><p>What is the biggest thing that scares or frustrates you about learning technology?</p><p><br/></p><p>Is it:</p><p><br/></p><p>💻 Understanding the code?</p><p><br/></p><p>🧠 Thinking you're not smart enough?</p><p><br/></p><p>😵 Getting confused?</p><p><br/></p><p>🐛 Errors and bugs?</p><p><br/></p><p>⏰ Finding time to practice?</p><p><br/></p><p>💰 Not having the right equipment?</p><p><br/></p><p>Or something else?</p><p><br/></p><p>And if you already know how to code, what is one piece of advice you would give to a complete beginner?</p><p><br/></p><p>Let's help each other.</p><p><br/></p><p>Because sometimes, someone doesn't need another complicated tutorial.</p><p><br/></p><p>Sometimes they just need someone to tell them:</p><p><br/></p><p>“You can start. You don't have to know everything.” 🚀</p>
